Haul yourself out of bed early to to grab a spot in the lower section of the campground--with more trees to block the sound, you can forget reality is just a few pines away. The true beauty of Starr, though, is its ‘hood--jump in the car for a short drive and end up in the Strawberry Mountain Wilderness or amongst the beautiful Logan Valley. And don’t leave home without a pit stop at Murderers Creek to catch a glimpse of wild, wild horses.
