If we were to say that Red Rock Canyon State Park’s Canyon Campground is equivalent to “OMG” in size 72, bold, italics, underline, and Impact font, would that start to give you a sense of how urgently you need to hit up this spot? Come in a tent or an RV, and with or without everyone you know to get jiggy with nature right quick. With a red rock backdrop that’s as perfect for rappelling as it is just to be near, and hiking trails with both easy and intense options, this campground has got us going gaga.

we stayed just at the base of the rocks, camp site was clean and had a nice fire ring. Red Rock canyon is a small park, but dont let the size fool you, this place is a perfect get away, we spent one night here in late February.
