Description
For a more all-inclusive, less-rustic experience in Boise National Forest, check out Shoreline Campground. Situated on Lake Cascade, it has paved parking spurs and roads, drinking water year-round, and a cafe less than a mile away (though no electricity). Across the street from Warm Lake at an elevation of 5300 feet, there’s a boat ramp and swimming beach, as well as horseshoe pits and volleyball courts. You can access the WeWuKiye Trail No. 252 at the campground entrance, a recently-built path popular with hikers and mountain bikers and great for spotting wildlife. There is one 50-person ADA group site with picnic shelter, perfect for hosting a friend-or-family reunion, and there are tons of hot springs in the neighboring towns for chilling out on your rest days. A great no-brainer for a weekend getaway on the Oregon-Idaho border!
