Goat House Farm Camping
Cute, fun, and GOATS
This was one of the best places for a first time camper. We had a blast hanging out with the goats, cats, and dogs. They had so many cute and sweet animals. The people who run the place are so sweet and welcoming.

Goat House Farm Camping
Had some issues…
We did not realize the campsites are IN the goat pen and not by the lake like some photos suggest. If you are looking for a cool place to have a fully immersive goat and cat experience, this is your spot. If you are at all worried about damage to your gear and hoping to be able to chill at your campsite, would recommend going somewhere else. The goats kept coming over and butting our new tent and trying to climb in the car while we tried to make breakfast. There was a friendly but annoying cat who kept jumping onto the tent and poking holes in it. The host was apologetic and tried to fix the situation but there wasn’t much they could do. The higher cost sites had a fence around it but ours did not. Otherwise, the common areas are great, the outhouse was clean, free laundry was a major bonus. All that is a kinda far walk from the campsite through multiple gates which is annoying but not too bad. Unfortunately due to the poor location of the campsite we left early. A fence around all sites and an outhouse closer to the campsites would be a big improvement!

Cozy Tent West
Had a blast!!
Camping at the goat house was absolutely delightful. The tent was cozy, the facilities were clean and as described, Melissa and team were friendly and accommodating, and the biscuit are amazing (seriously though). Even despite the rain I had a blast petting the animals.

Goat House Farm Camping
Baby goats & kitties!
The drive in was a little rough, but that made it nicely secluded and off the beaten path. So many adorable goats to pet! And a friendly camp kitty who kept us company. Bring some earplugs for sleeping if nighttime farm and other animal sounds bother you. It was perfect for us to have a private & rural place to stay near Tallahassee. The common area & outdoor kitchen was a nice amenity, as well as the homemade jams & salsas for sale.

Goat House Farm Camping
Goat Camping Hikers
Went rent camping with a group of 7 and we were easily able to fit a one person, two person, and four person tent on one spot. The tent site has one outdoor mat to fit one tent. Loved petting on the goats! They are adorable and WILL gladly hang out with you and try to steal your food, so plan to hang out more near the common area at night if that would bother you. The host communicated quickly and has a genuine heart for animals!
Would not recommend driving in with a low car as it is a country road with plenty of bumps. Trucks and small SUVS won’t have a problem!

The Little Coop
Animal Lovers Paradise!
Nice small farm. Loads of goats, chickens and other critters! The scenery by the lake is fantastic and the owner is very kind!
