We can host up to 8 people comfortably. Wide open spaces, kayak launch, and small-scale farming form a unique culture at Slow Boat Farm. Camp on Puget Island, in a peaceful, pastoral setting with views of the hills and cliffs on both sides of the river. Fire ring is available year round regardless of fire bans. A large grassy field offers ample space, and a private kayak launch is a short walk through a cottonwood forest. You will enjoy a private camp spot with shade or open space, where we can accommodate multiple vehicles. Larger groups can be accommodated - contact us! Slow Boat Farm is a large meadow, five acres of grass and wide open spaces plus a great view the gorge cliffs. Slow Boat Farm is a small-scale working farm, specializing in garlic and a big hay field - and like all of Puget Island, is green and productive due to wet winter conditions. Camping is available May through October.

    This is a lovely location. It is quiet, the view is bliss, the host is super helpful and welcoming. The warm shower was a definite little luxury. There is easy access to launch a kayak and it is a 10 minute trip into town if you need anything.

    This site is on a tiny little island and was beautiful! We had a very private camping area with a wonderful view of the field and farm area and a gorgeous sunset. Lisa and Holly were very welcoming and kind.

    The camping spot is a mowed yard within view of the house and road but the hosts were gracious and let us drive to the far back of the field which was very private. We saw deer, a number of different birds including a kite, and heard an owl. The stars were incredible.
