We are a family/Veteran-owned small farm, campground, store, and event venue offering primitive creek-side and field tent camping that's perfect for motorcyclists, car campers, van campers, bicyclists, and tourists traveling on an adventure. We are located along the historic Crooked Road Music Trail and right off the Blue Ridge Parkway at mile marker 159.3. The quirky, little town of Floyd is only 4 miles away, with easy access to music, shopping, grocery stores, local and international themed restaurants - all with a true feeling of Appalachian hospitality. There are 6 creek-side campsites, 5 field sites, and 2 sites right on the stocked pond, all with access to our hiking trail. Our store is stocked with essential camping needs, local products, artisan items, coffee, firewood, ice, souvenirs and more. During the summer we offer a "YouPick" flower experience in our crop field (come purchase a container and pick your own bouquet of flowers). Peak season for flowers is from August to September. Site 5 is a level spot with a fire ring including a cooking grate, picnic table, hammock, and access to the creek. Easy access to wash shelter "The Creek House" and hiking trails. Total site measurement is 45'x38' with a 12'x17' tent pad.

Site 2 has 2 level spots with fire ring, picnic table and is right on the creek. Easy access to wash shelter "The Creek House" and hiking trails. Total site measurement is 50'x30' with one 12'x12' tent pad and another 13'x14' tent pad.

Private site with space for a large tent. This site has a picnic table and fire ring as well as access to the creek. Fire ring includes a grill grate for preparing your evening meal! Enjoy the hammock while listening to the sounds of the creek. Total site measurement is 36'x38' with a 17'x12' tent pad.

Newly renovated - updated pictures coming soon! Site 6 is a large, flat site right beside the creek with an 8' picnic table and fire ring with cooking grate. There is a large tent pad that is able to accommodate two large tents or multiple smaller tents.

Field Site #7 offers a 18'x18' level tent pad, an 8' picnic table, and fire ring with cooking grate. Our field sites are the perfect spot for stargazing and catching the beautiful Floyd sunsets. Parking is allowed in the field at your site. Enjoy access to the creek, hiking trail, showers and our fully stocked camp store.

We had a great time at Crooked Mountain! Brian and Christy are wonderful hosts! Their little store has essential camping items that you might have forgotten at home. The campground is well maintained and clean. Hot showers, pet friendly. A stone's throw from the Blue Ridge Parkway and a few minutes from downtown Floyd. Campsite 7 is big enough for a 6 person tent, you can see the whole campground from it. Definitely get their fresh eggs to make breakfast. They are delicious. We will definitely be back!

Crooked Mountain is such a cool little campground! The staff is super nice and welcoming. I’m glad I live close by because this is the perfect place for a quick weekend getaway or a long stay. Can’t wait to go back!

We loved calling at Crooked Mountain!! It was the perfect setting and sleeping next to the creek was an amazing way to fall asleep and wake up. Downtown Floyd is super close and so fun!! Highly recommended!

Excellent sites. I kinda want to leave a bad review so there is always space when we want to go. Everything there is clean, friendly, spacious, natural and peaceful. The property is beautiful and the owners are amazing! We’ve already reserved a site for another weekend!

Crooked Mountain was fantastic! We loved the creekside sites, the facilities (the shower was great!), availability of all you need at the store, and location - super close to Floyd and the BRP. The owners are great and have done an excellent job building the campground out. Looking forward to coming back!
