This is the most beautiful and private campsite I’ve ever had the pleasure of staying at. The views are monumental, there is so much privacy, and Mike is the coolest host you’ll ever meet! The days we chose to visit there were storms all over the northeast, but we got so lucky and hardly dealt with any rain the whole trip. When it was coming down there is a massive tree canopy to keep you dry and set up a shelter. Feeding the chickens in the morning was a highlight, as well as the nearby access to drinking water and a spring shower on site. After our final night we spent the day exploring nearby Arlington and fell in love with the area. I may end up living nearby there one day, but until then, Timbertrail farms will be my all time favorite place to stay while I visit.

This spot was just magical. It had everything we needed. The views when it was light out were gorgeous but the fireflies at night were absolutely our favorite. Thank you so much Mike :)

We camped at the upper left camping spot for 8 days, and it was an excellent spot. There are 4 other sites on the property that we saw, and this one was by far the best for our liking.
It is a somewhat steep, bumpy hill to drive up, and AWD/4wd seems like a must, especially if there is rain. It was no issue for the Suburu Outback.
The site is big, and secluded, you barely see the roof of Mike's place below, and the view is fantastic. The site is on a hill, so there aren't any flat spots.
There was a raised fire pit, which was great. The toilet was compost, and out in the open- no "outhouse" but secluded with a privacy fence, a very short nice walk away from the site, and lit up with solar lights for night. It worked, and the view was pretty nice. There was a "shower" in process of being completed/just started from winter.
Overall a great site, very secluded, extremely large, with great views. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for this type of experience.
I may not be the most prolific Hip Camper, but I would bet that this is the nicest tent site in the northeast! Epic views, campfire pit, on site firewood for sale, beautiful farm with critters scurrying to and fro down the hill, clever toilets, and the outdoor showerhead is made out of a maple syrup container! The moon lit the night. Rambunctious orioles, fluting wood thrushes, owls, tree frogs, turkeys, peepers, snickering guinea hens and more..a symphony! A perfect and needed few days. Thank you!

Our stay at Green MTN campsite was beautiful. The crisp evening air and mountain views were very refreshing. We stayed in our camper van and had a fire both nights. It felt very private up on the hill and Mike and his son were super responsive and helpful during our stay. We look forawrd to another trip!

Mike’s property was beautiful and serene! Mike and his family were also very warm, welcoming, and kind. We had a slight hitch with our van and he and his son helped us to get unstuck and made what could have been a tough situation, a pleasant one! Our dogs even loved our stay! Thanks to Mike and his family for a lovely visit- can’t wait to come back again!!
a dream site and one of the best experiences on Hipcamp! The host is so caring and hospitable, wish I stayed longer. Can't wait to be back!
The pictures don’t do it’s justice of how beautiful the view is. This is a place you HAVE to see for yourself. Perfect area where you are secluded from everything but also 15-20 minute drive to any store in case you forgot to pack something. I highly recommend this site. Mike is a very nice and accommodating guy who makes you feel safe and welcome on his land. Highly recommend.
