There were some stakes left in the compound and a lot of tiny trashes scattered about other than that everything else was great! The camp host was friendly as well and we let her know our concern.

LOVE this camp site. I have nothing but great things to say. Mary & Darren are the sweetest hosts and they helped us during a rain storm. They also helped us fix a broken tent and allowed us to use some of their tools. Seriously greatest hosts ever. They also went around at 10pm and asked everyone to turn off their music so that was greatly appreciated.
The site itself was gorgeous and clean! We were right on the water and loved it. Lots of room between sites. Great time and we will be back!

Great view, needs a little help on the facilities for the cost. Camp host only available upon request, rowdy camp neighbors late hours of the night. Generators ran off and on through the night. Good if your staying for a short time, but there is running water so that's a plus

Unresponsive host. Our site was “double booked” somehow so we didn’t get to stay and they NEVER responded at all. No phone number. It’s been over a week since we got home and they still haven’t said a word!

Everything was great! We had a good time, my family and I besides the incident of our truck getting stuck in the sand. Thank you for understanding our situation it will definitely not happened again. We can’t wait till next year!

Site 10 - Beachfront Campsites - Laketown
We've stayed at this campground several times at different sites and site 10 was great. It's right next to a bathroom. The water in the trough wasn't working but there was a pump on the other side of the bathroom that worked. It's not right on the beach but an easy walk through the amphitheater. Nice and quiet without too many people around.

The location was pretty nice, being right on the water, however the house next to our campsite had some unpleasant residents, the bathrooms/outhouses were disgusting and not kept up, there was trash and glass all over the campsite and on the beach, as well as other garbage we cleaned up.

Our stay was amazing! There is showers which i appreciated greatly after a fun day in the lake. There are plenty of restrooms around the camp with hand washing stations. The camp sites have plenty of space for multi family camping as well as a solid amount of space between the campsites themselves which is nice! The walk to the water was short and easy especially with two littles. This will be our go spot for any future trips to Bear Lake! Thank you!

Site 4 - Beachfront Campsites - Laketown
They double booked our site! The. The sites weren’t labeled correctly (site 4 was marked a decrepit awning when it was in fact, the nice one next to it, which we knew because we booked the site before) so we didn’t even get to park in one of the ones we reserved for our family reunion. Our family reserved 3 sites total but got cramped into 1 full spot and a half of another. Messaging on Hi-Camp was a joke. I messaged on Thursday (our checkin date) it’s Sunday now (checkout) and they never did respond. We had people in our family campground on and off the whole time, which was uncomfortable.
We have stayed here many times and have had good experience. This time was not.

I really liked this campsite compared to the one we got prior. The site is really close to the bathroom so we would frequently get whiffs of it through the day. The site was not as private as we would like, camp 16 was really close. But we did enjoy the trees nearby that we could hang a hammock on.

Bear Lake Aquatic Base camp was amazing. The breathtaking bear lake view right in front of your camp is nothing but magic. My kids love that fact that the beach is just a min walk down the camp. The host was very accommodating and they came to check on us and we love it. We’ll be one of our annual campground.

We stayed there twice. First time was amazing and we loved it so much we came back. Unfortunately second time was not the best experience.
2 different sites playing super loud music way past midnight, reached out to host with no response.
To this day I have not heard back from her.
It’s a shame because we really liked it the first time.

Site 16 - Beachfront Campsites - Laketown
Overall not too bad as a camp ground but there were several things I would say could be improved. Campsite 16 and 15 were really close and there was no privacy. The bathrooms had a stronger scent than I’ve experienced but it was well stocked with toilet paper and soap. No map was provided of the site until we arrived on site and the signs were all worn so navigating the site was difficult at night.

I would recommend the Aquatics Base. Easy access to a non-crowded beach. Incredible sunsets from the eastern shore of the lake. Warm showers. 25 minutes from Garden City.

We had a fairly large campsite (#3). It was just me and my husband for our anniversary so we barely took up any room. Our spot was fairly close to the shore which was awesome. The camping spots we filled but far enough from each other to not bug each other. The night we got there (10pm) after we got our tent set up and were in bed we had people walking right thru our site so close they could see in our tent. And it was obvious that we were in the tent and not gone. Didn’t bother use bc we thought maybe they didn’t see us bc it was dark so it’s fine. The next morning we get woken up by other campers telling us to move our car in OUR campsite so they could drive thru it. I was like WTH! Then later that day we went into town to just look around and we came back and there was a family playing in front of our campsite on the lake which we totally expected and didn’t care but then they would leave and come in right thru our campsite. Once again so close they could touch our tent. We told them they couldn’t do that and they said they were told they could to be able to go to the lake which I don’t think is correct bc we were literally changing and they come up to our tent. We ended up leaving early and getting a hotel in logan. We didn’t feel is was safe enough to tent camp bc people have no personal space. Especially late at night. Also the bathrooms here are insanely dirty and smell from a mile away. Only good thing was that the water was clear enough for us to go snorkeling.

This campsite was absolutely amazing! We were right on the beach, we had an area that had shaded coverage, and had both bathrooms and showers (and water) available nearby.

Great availability right on the water. Price was kind of high compared to state beaches that have flushing toilets and better amenities. Showers were hot and campsite was fine. No one checked on us or even checked that we had paid.
