Off the grid, fancy tents, a full kitchen and bar, surrounded by red mountains and cool desert plants... this place is a total win. You're also within a short distance from many many bucketlist hikes!
Honestly, I want to live here - I can't think of any other way to put it. Everything about it is pretty perfect. We even had smores! Everyone who was staying at the same time was super friendly, the full moon that rose reminded me of sunrise. If you're in the area (or not), it's a destination and experience in itself.

Basecamp 37 was an exceptional experience. The aesthetic of our tent was well thought out and included everything we needed. The property itself was just as thoughtfully designed to provide privacy when you needed it, and community when you wanted it! Amy the host was super helpful in offering us suggestions on hikes and things to do on our cross country roadtrip. Will absolutely be staying here again.
For our family, This was a great way to start our road trip. We loved having the experience of camping under the big sky yet with the convenience of a real bed and a kitchen. Amy was always available but also respectful of privacy.

We stayed at Under Canvas's tent the night before and we much preferred basecamp 37°. Our host was very helpful and responsive to my questions (I called multiple times to confirm about wifi and power outlet ).
The site was beautiful as we arrived in the purple dusk with bright stars in the sky. The tent was efficiently heated and powered. We rested really well after a warm shower in the common area. The kitchen was stuffed with spices and appliances to use.
Do fill up your gas and bring food if you are coming from Arizona as there was no restaurant and gas station on the way. We would love to come back again for another beautiful stay.

Host Amy has put effort and care into every detail of Basecamp 37. From the individual tent sites (stocked with sanitizer wipes to heated blankets) to the communal cabin (clean bathroom and showers to kitchen/cooking needs)... this stay felt both safe + comforting but also remote + tranquil. Host Amy's local knowledge of the area was helpful as well as some printed materials in the communal cabin. Communication was quick with Host Amy. I recommend arriving right after 4pm check in time -- to fully enjoy every minute of your reservation. The evenings are incredible and it is best to arrive before dark. You don't want to miss the STARS!

The location was perfect for us, we only wish that we would have stayed longer. The shared areas were incredible with a fully stocked kitchen of supplies for utensils and cook ware. You have plenty of space (private) for dried goods and in the fridge. The yurt is supplied with a heater and a heated bed. The showers were MAGIC!! And even stocked with supplies there, as well. Amy was easy to get ahold of and provided great communication and direction. We would 10/10 recommend!
