Absolute gem of a place, hosted by absolutely lovely humans. The theme of this place is “well stocked, and extremely thoughtful.” You’re left wanting for nothing. The common area is filled with a well stocked kitchen, games, flashlights, a telescope, and more. Great outdoor cooking options as well. The tents are well appointed, with heaters if you’re inclined, and even tho the place is off the grid, you’re never lacking for power - thanks for ample solar powered batteries.

We absolutely loved this place. Everything from the warm and enthusiastic welcome by Stephanie to the aesthetics of the tent and the spotless, cozy shared spaces (kitchen, bathrooms, BBQ, etc.) made our stay wonderful. It’s off-grid, quite and the views are beautiful!

Wonderful hosts!! Friendly easy to communicate with and know the surrounding area well. They do an excellent job maintaining the grounds and provide the guests with just about all you could need when you disconnect from the day to day… The tents were clean and comfortable, and are outfitted with heat for the cold and fans for the heat. Plenty of power for charging gear via the solar powered “Goal Zero” power station.
The location is great too!! Just a few miles outside of Kanab and within reach of several Southern Utah national parks, and just far enough off the beaten path so it’s possible to disconnect at the end of a day of adventure. A few other sites in the area are right off the main road so I would expect the experience just wouldn’t be the same.
Lucky for us it was a new moon and the sky was clear as a bell! The Milky Way was impossible to miss! And I bet a thunderstorm in the are would put on a good show as well.

We had an amazing time at BaseCamp 37! The remote location offered the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle, immersing us in serene solitude. The shared space and kitchen were exceptionally well-equipped, making our stay incredibly convenient. We fired up the BBQ to grill juicy steaks and sweet corn, which was delicious!
The real highlight, though, was unwinding in the Cowboy hot tub at sunset. The view was breathtaking as we cooled off and sipped on a couple of beers, marveling at the stars and the Milky Way. Returning to our tent, we curled up in the super comfortable bed, feeling completely relaxed. This place truly combines rustic charm with cozy comfort—highly recommend for anyone seeking a peaceful retreat! 🌌🍻🔥🌽🛏️

Basecamp 37 was a super off grid location. Quite a drive down the track, but this just added to the whole experience. The communal area was very clean and tidy, and was well stocked with everything from pots and pans to head torches, from fridge space to board games.

Beautiful camp site, the star gazing is phenomenal! Neanna was a gracious host and so helpful in pointing us towards adventure spots. Everything was clean and well maintained, and the amenities went above and beyond. Ten out of ten recommended!

BaseCamp 37° Josey Wales Tent
So glad we decided to stay at basecamp! The whole experience was exactly what we hoped for - peaceful, off the grid but still a convenient enough location to go into town for any needs and explore nearby slot canyons and hoodoos. The whole campground is designed very thoughtfully, allowing for privacy at your tent and just enough communal space to meet fellow travelers during meal times. Amy adds some great touches like bedside lamps, heated blankets, mirrors in the tents; aloe, lotion, toiletry lockers in the restrooms, and a fully stocked kitchen for any cooking needs. Many options for lounging and enjoying the panoramic views of the desert after a long day of hiking. Best part is that it was a totally dog friendly grounds which we always feel grateful for. Amy was also easily reachable throughout our stay, though we never needed to since everything was so seamless! This was a truly unique first glamping experience that will be hard to beat. Would return in a heartbeat!

Amy has created a true oasis in the high desert for those who are exploring all of the great outdoor adventures along the Arizona and Utah border. The amenities house is perfectly situated in the middle of the glamping tents and has everything needed for a great stay.

This place is absolutely stunning and we had an incredible stay. The tent has everything you could want including a comfortable bed, an incredible view, stylish furnishing, outlets and lighting, etc etc etc. The main house, which is a short walk away from each tent, is delightfully clean and has any kitchen and bathroom essential that you could ask for (did someone say s'mores?). Not only that, but there was a cold tub outside to soak in after a long day in the desert where you can watch the sun set and the stars begin to illuminate the sky.

It’s hard to leave a review as a part of me wants to keep it a secret. But here it goes… every detail and need of glampers is considered. This place far surpassed more prominent and marketed glamping experiences. The road driving in is a little rough and out of the way with a Prius, but go slow and it is absolutely worth it! If you are looking to really get off the grid in comfort, this place is it!! The land is powerful and will speak to you if you listen. It’s so peaceful it shouldn’t be hard to hear :)

Our stay here was amazing! The tent itself was so comfortable and super clean. The host was communicative and turned on the light for us in the tent when we let her know we’d be arriving after dark.
Perfect spot to come, be at peace in a beautiful setting, and look at the stars! (We saw 6 shooting stars!)
The shared communal space was another bonus- it was spacious, gorgeous, and perfect for our stay!
We will be back!

AMAZING! I went with my boyfriend and we have never seen so many stars in our life. So close to Zion and Kanab that you can get everything you would want. But if you just want to stay the staff provides everything from food, to power outlets (solar too) and showers. I will definitely come back, probably in the fall next time to escape the hot days though. Love!

My husband and 3 year-old had a great time here and would stay again in a heartbeat. It's very well located between the national parks and all the other awesome hikes and activities in this region. The tents are very comfortable, the landscape is beautiful and the main house/common area is so well designed, clean, and fun - we met other groups of nice folks here during our stay and swapped stories of our outdoor adventuring in the evenings while making s'mores - pretty ideal!

Please, please do yourself a favor and book this fantastic "glamping" tent outside of Kanab, Utah. The location, the views, the amenities - fire pit, hammock, fully equipped kitchen and two full bathrooms with showers are just some of the great features of this special place. I am ready to come back!

We had an awesome experience at BaseCamp37 - Hayduke Tent. The view was outstanding; the host, Amy, was so helpful and welcoming. The kitchen and bathrooms were very well stocked - and enjoyed meeting the other "campers". Sure wish we could have stayed longer - and hope to return some day.

This place far exceeded our expectations! We stayed for one night with our dog and it was incredible. The location is spectacular, tents are beautiful with such a comfortable bed, and the shared spaces are equipped with everything you could possibly need and spotlessly clean. We happened to stay there on a bit of a cold and windy day, but didn't even notice the chilly night because the tent was equipped with a great space heater and heated blanket. I can say without a doubt that this was the best glamping experience we have ever had. My only regret is that we didn't get to stay for more time. I would highly recommend this spot!

The location was perfect for us, we only wish that we would have stayed longer. The shared areas were incredible with a fully stocked kitchen of supplies for utensils and cook ware. You have plenty of space (private) for dried goods and in the fridge. The yurt is supplied with a heater and a heated bed. The showers were MAGIC!! And even stocked with supplies there, as well. Amy was easy to get ahold of and provided great communication and direction. We would 10/10 recommend!

This little development was an absolute dream and the second we pulled in, I already knew I hadn’t booked enough time here. The site is beautiful, the commons are comfortably scaled and incredibly well kept, and the tent itself kept us warm and happy even on a chilly desert night. I absolutely cannot wait to return and explore more within the area!

Host Amy has put effort and care into every detail of Basecamp 37. From the individual tent sites (stocked with sanitizer wipes to heated blankets) to the communal cabin (clean bathroom and showers to kitchen/cooking needs)... this stay felt both safe + comforting but also remote + tranquil. Host Amy's local knowledge of the area was helpful as well as some printed materials in the communal cabin. Communication was quick with Host Amy. I recommend arriving right after 4pm check in time -- to fully enjoy every minute of your reservation. The evenings are incredible and it is best to arrive before dark. You don't want to miss the STARS!
