in Lower Yuba Campground, CaliforniaThis site is absolutely stunning. We are looking forward to going back.
We did get my truck stuck in the sand and gravel on the lower camp area because we thought we could drive that lower terrain. We could no.. and it was poor judgment. You don't want to drive down there unless you have a very light car with monster tires:) Roy and his neighbors were amazing, patiently trying to help us. In the end it took two tow trucks. The ordeal made for quite the adventure.
We were still able to enjoy a river swim, campfire, an amazing show of shooting stars, a beautiful sunset and sunrise, and a very peaceful and serene campsite. Me and my family will definitely be back and this time we know where NOT to drive.
