Site 1 - Camp in the Apple Orchard
in Harris Family Farm and Forest, CaliforniaSpent new years camping
My boyfriend and I spent New Years at site #3 by the tall trees. Jane and Dan set us up with an awesome fire pit + kindling and complimentary firewood!
If you walk by the main farm, youâll meet their friendly animals! There were three dogs we saw but only got two names, Lou a Great Pyrenees and Buster a lab? There were also three cats and even saw a turkey.
Before leaving the camp we purchased 2 jams from the pie/jam shop!
Our time was well spent here, only a few miles away from the snow.
Definitely recommend Janeâs farm for future hip campers :)
Just bundle up if youâre coming during winter!
Site 17 - Irish Creek Camp
in Irish Creek Ranch, CaliforniaMy friends and I camped at Wendell's Irish creek camp this past Memorial Weekend. It was great! The weather was perfect and the land was what we expected. We had enough room for 3 tents and 3 cars. We were so impressed by how every site had happy hipcampers ;) We fell in love with Andy, he got along with all of the dogs, including our German Shep. Every site includes a fire pit, a grill and water to put your fire out. The area is beautiful, we hiked the last option on the guide that Wendell gave us. It's the one off of, Pedro? We were so happy to see that it's still very green. Definitely recommend Irish Creek Camp :)
The Paddocks Ocean Views Camping
in The Paddocks, CaliforniaHad a great time at the Paddocks campground. Loved the drive up here from South Bay, glad to see it all green. Close to the beach and near a lot of happy animals :) (sheep/cows.) Thankful for the cool outhouse. Awesome off leash environment for my German shepherd.
