Past trip
in Dunlap Canyon Retreat, CaliforniaClean bathrooms and showers!
Spencer has a nice quiet land with some great views, and reasonable access to the park. His bathrooms honestly feel cleaner than some campground and RV parks Iâve stayed at. I think it was the only one I actually took a shower barefoot. He is very accommodating and has an adorable dog. Would choose again without hesitation.
Past trip
in Lost Woods, TexasJames was great. Impending weather and he made the perfect call of where to set up to minimize water and let my civic navigate the terrain. He knows his spots! Was able to set up the hammock and see some birds. Govt Canyon is super close. Some road noise but if youâve ever been to Bastrop itâs a about on par. The trade off is the ease if which it is to get supplies or have a lazy night of dinner. Definitely would check it out again.
Past trip
Honeycomb Airstream
in Queen of the Road, TexasStay was good. No hot water but not a big deal. Kitchenette is pretty well-stocked. I left some aluminum foil as people seem to not understand how to use/clean the toaster oven. There are chickens. Listing says unleashed dogs okay but if yours has never been around them I'd keep them leashed. Sophie was kind and present when we had an issue with the door. Was very cold when we stayed so the fire pit and heaters were great. On the last warm night the A/C worked great. Would stay again, hope she keeps going with this. Only 15/20 minutes away from Austin.
