Our time at the Bedgood Heritage Farm was nothing short of incredible. It was an easy drive from Metro Atlanta, yet before you even arrive to the property, you already feel a world away from the hustle and bustle of every day life. Ray was waiting for us at the gate when we arrived, and escorted us through the front pasture and back to our campsite. We felt so welcomed from the moment we pulled in. The views before we even parked at our campsite were amazing, and after tour and briefing from Ray we broke camp. Once we got our tent set up, the fire rolling, and got acclimated, we grabbed a drink and began to explore the property. Ray surprised us with some farm fresh eggs for our morning breakfast which was such an amazing surprise. The sheep wandering around, the sound of the animals in the distance, and then rolling fields of the farm all made for the perfect getaway ambiance. Working a hectic life in healthcare, we both needed this escape from work dearly. This property was everything we needed and more. Beautiful scenery. Great campsite. Even with the temperature dropping into the 30’s, we felt so cozy and comfortable. Waking up the next morning and peering out of our tent to see the sheep grazing 50 yards a way on the hilltop was a dream. We can’t thank Ray and Chris enough for the hospitality. We will definitely be frequenting this property in the future. On our way out, we visited with all the animals near the barn, hung with the dogs, and enjoyed our final moments before we careened back to reality. This property is a “can’t miss”, so if you’re contemplating it, do yourself a favor and book a night or two.

Unbelievable site. We were tucked right into the corner, 4 tends, two hammock, two vehicle, and had plenty of space for games and gear. Definitely will return.
