Beautiful and private place to explore. We are used to primitive camping, but really appreciated the composting toilet situation! Lora was a great host; she made sure we had everything we needed and were comfortable ahead of our cold winter camping.

The property is very nice and spacious! Lora was a very accomodating host and checked on us several times to make sure we had everything we needed. While there is a road right by this particular site, the traffic was infrequent and it did not bother us in the slightest. Overall we had an amazing time and we will definitely be back again!

We loved camping on Lora's property. The sites are great and well marked. Lora is a very responsive and friendly host. She gave us good recommendations for activities in the local area. We hope to book with her again next time we're in town.

Overall we had a good time camping. The campsite was as described and the amenities were up to par.
Pros:
Close to town. You can get into downtown in less than ten minutes. Stores and gas stations are close by for convenience.
Bathroom was close to site
Table and chairs were available for use
Cons:
Site 2 was right by the road, and we had to endure the sound of passing cars all day and night. This is why we would not camp here again.
We were pulling a single axle trailer and the entrance to Site 2 was a tight fit for our Subaru + Trailer. We probably had an extra two inches on each side of the gate.
Enjoyable overall, but due to passing cars at site 2 we wouldn't camp again. Perfect site if you want to get around town and do some shopping and winery hopping.
Everything went well on Lora’s property. She was so helpful and accommodating. Fun to be around, too!

Was able to get out of ATL for a quick sub-24 overnight trip. Communication was easy, directions were good and the fishing in the pond was great. Overall a very good stay.
What a great place! Loved it!! Creek was beautiful!!! Hope to go back soon!!!

Great host!
Omg! The host was amazing throughout the process! It was our first camping trip but we were giving all the necessary information for a wonderful experience. The property was accessible and away but close to local food. We are trying to figure out how we can camp with her next weekend!

We loved our stay here! Lora was super accommodating and went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed. Beautiful property super close to town but feels like your secluded in the hills! Highly recommend.

We didn’t explore the entire property, but our site (#1) was fairly level and near the creek. The property is not far from town, which came in handy when we realized we needed mosquito repellant. Lora is friendly and communication was easy. I plan to return!
I’ll do better than just recommend it, I’m already planning to book it again for next years ride! What a great place to camp!

We were at site 3, which had areas of shade and areas in a clearing. It got a little warm when we were there so the shade was appreciated. The site was flat for tent camping. I appreciated the metal picnic table and chairs. It provided extra space for prep and dining. You can hear the goings on in the area because this is in a valley and sound carries. You couldn’t see other folks though. The host was great!

Lora’s place was wonderful. It was just my husband and I on this trip but the place was perfect for the whole family. Nice cubbies for other tents so we wouldn’t be on top of each other. Nice setup with a fire pit and a compost toilet. Lira checked on us when we first got there to see if we needed anything and set up a tent for our use so we wouldn’t have to dig ours out of storage!

My Wife and I and two little Toy
Poodles, have camped at all three of Lora's campsites at one time or the other this year and have found all three to be a very wonderful, pleasant and peaceful with nice areas to play games etc. Lora and Heidi go to great lengths to to make sure you're camping experience is very memorable.
I loved tent camping on Lora's site. Beautiful site with a pond and a waterfall just around the corner. Host was very friendly and responsive. This place is close to everything including a delicious restaurant under 10 minutes away if you decide to dine out. Amicalola falls is just 25 minutes. We would stay here again for sure!

As always, Lora,
the host, is exceptional. She made sure that we have everything we need. That being said, our weekend excursion was cut short due to the rain, rain, and more rain. However, that will not stop us from going again and again and again till Mother Nature gets it right.

This is an amazing place. It’s like a private park! Very peaceful and well-done. Lora is a great host who wants to make sure you have everything you need to have a great time. Highly recommend.
Repeat stay, great host and a great place as always to spend time outdoors.
If you're looking for quiet place to relax, this is it! Easy to get to property and signs help you find your site! Loras hospitality was amazing! I'm used to primitive camping so the compost toilet and bathing in the pond wasn't anything new to me. Even with the downpour of rain before I got there, the pond site grounds weren't flooded or soggy. I will definitely be back when im in the area!

Well..... First, our Host Lora, was INCREDIBLE. The site was more than we could have hoped for. Nice rock lined firepit a camouflaged toilet area with all necessary items. We lacked for nothing. The trees canopy...next to the soft rippling creek, provided us with well wanted coolness. The wildflower area provided us with enough area for our 8x10 canopy and badminton set, which us and our little 5 lb. Toy Poodle Elle played with a lot. Ellie loves to grab the shuttlecocks' and RUN. Seemed like every time Sue and I went for a walk, we would grab a few incredible blackberries, which were everywhere. Didn't want to forget the blueberries as well. Lora pointed out several of the plants she has made a home for and they really bring in the pollinators. That was only 1 of 3 sites Lora has available. The other 2 have their specials as well. All in all.......A+for the site and Lora.
Great place to spend time camping. Easy to find and there are multiple sites for on the property, each one is worth trying out.
We enjoyed the property very much. The wild flowers were beautiful. My sons fished in the pond. I cooled off in the creek. We ate, laughed, listened to music, turned off our phones and talked. Lara was very tolerant of us as we had more cars than allowed. She let our friends park in a field nearby. Great memories

Lora’s property was incredible. From the sweet friendly dogs to the cute duck that followed us on our hike and back to our campsite, my girlfriend and I could not have had a better and more welcoming experience. Lora has quite the passion, interest, and awareness for maintaining her campsites while also showing love to the local ecosystem and preserving surrounding plantlife. We had a great time camping here and will be back again!
I have stayed here multiple times, always a pleasant experience.
