Really appreciate Ed's responsiveness to my emailed questions prior to my stay. Nelson, the Caretaker, was very friendly and helpful. In fact, While we were out hiking, Nelson was kind enough to cover our Picnic Table and gear prior to a rainstorm so it was all dry when we returned. Very impressed with that level of service.

Nelson explain the Campground area has just opened this spring (2018). I'd have to say, It was well set up so far. The Pond is nicely done with a boat house supplied with Kayaks, Canoe, and Small Rowboat, fishing rods and lawn games. We fished from the boat and had a a few hours of nice catching. (Catch and Release only). Looking forward to coming back and seeing how the place develops (but hopefully not too much since the simple and quiet aspect is what I loved the most).
