Vintage 1850 Log Cabin Glamping
in Heritage Farm Stay Adventure, IndianaOne night stay (april 2021)
My family and I had a one night stay in the cabin on April 1, 2021. We were a little concerned given that the weather was going to drop to 20 degrees that night, especially since the cabin only has a wood burning fire place and a gas fireplace heater on the first floor. Tim was helpful in showing me how to work the wood burning fireplace. Surprisingly enough, both fireplaces were enough to keep us warm through the night. The beds were comfortable and we had plenty of space upstairs.
My son loved walking around the property and interacting with the animals, especially the cats in the barn. We also enjoyed the pizzas that were prepared by Tim outside in the pizza oven, and we enjoyed making sâmores next to the fireplace late at night.
We hope to be back soon, but Iâll keep my fingers crossed for better weather so we can take full advantage of the outdoor space and the fire pit in the back. Tim was a wonderful host and we hope to see him again soon.
