Treehouse Place at Deer Ridge!
in Treehouse Place at Deer Ridge!, WashingtonA fantastic host with a very unique property made this stay simply wonderful. One of the best parts is snaking your way up the gorgeous wooden staircase leading up to the treehouse! Joe's description is spot on so you know exactly what to expect - it's more of a tiny home amongst the trees vs a treehouse = meaning it's extremely well built and comfortable. Maybe too comfortable haha - when you wake in the morning surrounding by trees on all sides in that extremely comfy bed, you will understand! The kitchen area is small but perfect for the size of the unit. We cooked a full dinner using the mini burner and supplied utensils! Apparently, Joe is considering making this area into a little treehouse village, so I will be keeping my eye out!
Site 1 - Cedar + Fern
in Cedar+Fern, WashingtonWhat a perfect experience!! Jill is an amazing, no wait, AMAZING, host, and the property is to die for! She went way out of her way to accommodate us, ensuring that we had everything we needed and more! Even the drive to get there, taking the ferry from downtown Seattle, through Bainbridge Island made this an unforgettable camping trip! There are a couple of stores very close by that will have anything you could possibly need - including many vegan and organic options! Also, with a short drive you can find yourself hiking on the eastern fringe of Olympic National Park either by doing the simple Falls View Canyon hike or The Mount Walker Trail if you're feeling froggy! (tip: you can drive to the top of Mount Walker to get the views without hiking the 2000ft elevation gain!). We will definitely be telling everyone we know about Cedar + Fern. We are already planning our return!!! Jill has many great ideas for the property, or as she refers to it, her Passion Project, and we are very excited to see what she does with it! Great company, fantastic experience! We will be back!!
Rancho Relaxo
in Rancho Relaxo, CaliforniaJoanie is an excellent host and has some great ideas brewing for this property. Though it was not fully ready for a slew of ready campers just yet, it's potential is HUGE! There was a bbq pit, a swing set, an outhouse, a small patio area with tables and chairs and tons of room for many sites - along with an easy hike to some killer views. Once she gets her land completely setup, this is going to be a great spot for anyone to spend a night!

Book early, pack warm, take down your hammocks when you leave for the day - otherwise they may be ripped apart by wildlife.
