Past trip
BYOT Farm Stay
in Lis-Bon Acres đĽđđ°, WashingtonThis is one of those fun experience type Hipcamp places where the hosts are friendly, generously show you around their cool farm and let you feed and per the animals, and have wonderful farm fresh eggs, honey, cold sodas and farm based products available. Our 8 year old loved the ninja obstacle playground area which had a nice place for the adults to sit under the trees on lawn chairs and watch the ducks in the pond.
Past trip
in Naked Falls, WashingtonRemote refreshing river camping
Steppen was friendly and helpful. The location was AMAZING! You can hear and see the river from many of the campsites and getting to the river itself is a short walk away - this is a new "happy spot" we will return to again and again and bring friends. The campsites are rustic and the road out there is an adventure of gravel and potholes so bring what you need so you can just relax and detox from city cares. The dogs, kid and adults enjoyed a brave plunge in the river (cold in May!) and picking our way along the rock islands to move up and down the river. I should post some photos - my words aren't doing it justice
Past trip
Thick Forest Seclusion
in R&R Retreat. Digital Detox., WashingtonBeautiful relaxing nature retreat
This is an amazing place to camp! You are all by yourself in a forest glen right next to a meadow. With beautiful hiking in all directions. Friendly helpful host. Rented the ATV to explore the property as an added adventure and plan to return to try horseback riding with neighbor Gayle next time we come. You will be so spoiled after camping here - you wonât want to return to a crowded state park ever!
