Pond Side Camping

Awesomely secluded spot.
Milky Way was visible with the naked eye, surrounded by forests with clearings to view the sky. Lake was clean and a great swim!
Hosts were very friendly and inviting.
Pond Side Site was a great little clearing in the forest and very private. Easy walk to the outhouse and lake.
From an avid camper, this is a great find!

I stayed at site 4, but wrote a review below of what I saw at other sites. There is some minor traffic noise from any site, but tune it out, and enjoy!
Sites 1 & 2 are close to another and have more room to spread out. Likely best for larger groups. Take the fork in the road to the left when entering the park for these sites, and a right at the fork for all other locations.
Site 3 is closer to the gravel road for the park, but situated right on the river - great white noise!
Site 4 is the most secluded and sits off the gravel road a bit. Easily walkable to the river, but not on the banks. Take the path behind 4 downstream to the rear of the ruins - very quiet, great stargazing, meditation areas.
Sites 5 & 6 are more “where the action is.”
They sit close to the ruins, which is great, but are also closer to the gift shop, parking, etc
