I have mixed feelings about this listing. I was hoping for a fairly quiet evening among the trees but in reality it was a noisy evening on top of other campers.

First off, the instructions to get there are not very clear. The GPS takes you to the brewery that is behind this listing. This listing is the right BEFORE the brewery. Signs would help tremendously as I thought I was driving into a random's backyard (technically I was but after asking several folks, I figured out I was in the right spot).

Upon arriving, I was told that it was fairly crowded. I am not sure how many folks are allowed to stay on this lot but it was indeed crowded. Thankfully my tent is rather small so I don't take up a lot of space but it was slightly hard to find a good spot. Maybe I should have walked further into the trees. At that point I should have just gone backpacking then. I think this listing needs to have a set number of sites with signs marking each site. Would help with the overcrowding issue.

I will say that the electrical outlets were a nice addition. It was nice to charge up my child's Switch. I don't remember how many are on the lot but they were big outlets so good for communal sharing.

There was one outhouse for this crowded spot. I was under the impression that simple things like toilet paper were included but I know better than to assume this. Thankfully I brought my own but certainly had an interesting midnight trip where I had forgotten to grab it. If the site wasn't so crowded, I would have preferred to use nature instead of the outhouse.

I also thought firewood was provided. In past hipcamp stays, the wood was laying beside my spot. I will say that I didn't put a whole lot of effort in finding wood but I didn't see any readily available. I made the mistake of not bringing my own.

As for being kid friendly, I personally wouldn't bring my kiddo back to this spot. Just had a weird vibe. Maybe it was the crowd that was there that particular evening, but this was one of the least friendly camping spots I've taken him to.

I can't speak to the mannerism of the host as he wasn't there. He apparently was at the beach. He did answer my questions when I got lost but that was the only interaction I had from him.

We were so excited to stay at this little treehouse. It was so much cuter in person than the photos give it credit for. The grounds were perfect and safe for an exploring little boy. The hosts were the cutest and most incredible people that were extremly helpful the entire visit. They opened up their farm to let my kiddo pet the animals, had fresh eggs and bread waiting for us, and answered any questions we had in a timely manner. This spot is perfect for anyone that wants to get their feet wet (literally and figuratively) in a genuine camping experience. The treehouse is fully equipped with all the essentials. I didn’t have to pack any of my camping things. I will be visiting again as this experience was just lovely. Don’t wait to book this place. Just do it. It was incredible.

I’m so glad I chose this place. I’ve been wanting to do more secluded camping for a while and this place most certainly gave that to me. The view was incredible. I stayed in camping spot #2 where the views were. I finally got to see a sunrise and sunset in the blue ridge mountains. Thanks to the host for letting us use this little spot of heaven.

Online reservations move fast. I am not sure how fast their drive up spots move but this is a popular spot. Car camping is allowed. Great facilities. Feels like the glamping of camping. Love this place.
