Site 2 - Cedar Creek
in Pine Creek, New JerseySite 1 Lean to Tent Site
in Peace & Quiet by the River!, PennsylvaniaHighly recommended.
- Susan was easy to communicate with and accommodating.
- Site was very private and along a river
- Great swimming & fishing in the river (we caught a carp!)
- Clean & Well appointed site :
- Nice fire pit, picnic table (with benches), and tarped lean-to that kept gear dry. Also supplied fresh water, non-potable cleaning sink, and camp toilet.
- Hospitality box was excellent and had essentials. We received additional 'kitchen box' as well for pots and pans, utensils, glasses, etc.
- Close to great hiking, and 'civilization' is a short drive away - there's even a local Cabela's in case you forgot something!
Be aware :
- It is a riverside site, so there are insects in warm season
- You cannot drive directly to the site. You can park above and walk down a hillpath to the site.
- The drive to the site is through a Christmas tree farm. It is beautiful, but it is not a paved road. Trucks & SUV's may have an easier time of it (but small cars can manage).
Site 1 - Cedar Creek
in Pine Creek, New JerseyWe were at site 2. Beautiful, large, private space for our group. Wooded site . Had a new picnic table. Could only stay for one night but will definitely come again. Tip for future campers - if you are going to sites 1, 2, or 3, approach from the north. The road is blocked if you come from the south.
