Past trip
in Stobo Farm, IndianaWonderful stay at the farm
What a great campsite! It has everything you need, wonderful touches (grill, chairs, washing water), and amazing grounds! The hikes were close and very fun to explore and Josh was over the top helpful. I would love to come back again! The reviews and write ups are all incredibly accurate. You feel secluded but can hear a little road noise and some working dogs at night, but they canât take away from the fields full of fireflies or flowers. Excellent all around!

Three Acre Woods Hill Top campsite
in Three Acre Woods, MinnesotaCharming, cute, and convenient
Great location, thoughtful and available hosts- perfect for our needs! We booked last minute and were given the choice of sites and a quick tour of the lovely hobby farm. Guinea fowl, pigs, chicken, ducks, very friendly cats, and a very convenient bathroom, water source, and power source.
We could hear a little road noise and charming animal noises, but we werenât going for remote or silent! Judy was very helpful and provided everything we needed: fire ring, picnic table, firewood, etc. Unfortunately it was very windy with a fire warning on the day we would have made a fire, so we chose not to make one- great set up though. Thanks for the excellent stay!

in Three Acre Woods, MinnesotaBack again- great set up!
So great we stayed again!
Better than car camping with a clean bathroom and fun critters to watch.
Past trip
Firefly Woods
in Firefly Camp and Sauna, MichiganWhat a wonderful location and well loved property! The reviews below really tell the full story: private, great star gazing spot, trails, fire wood, helpful hosts, sauna, bug protection.... I could go on and on! Loved it and hope to be back soon!
Past trip
in Bear Lake Meets da Yellow Dog, MichiganMagical and peaceful stay
The sunset cabin was wonderful and so was Sue! She gave me guidance for hikes, made sure I was ready to go with kayaking, and answered any questions I had, and was genuinely one of the best hosts Iâve had.
The cabin is just as described: a work in progress, but exactly what I needed. It was cozy inside and all the windows had screens so sleeping was easy, cool, and peaceful! I put my sleeping pad on top of the futon mattress for a little added cushion and slept very well. There were tapestries inside and a small lantern as well: perfect.
The outhouse was clean but loved and didnât have a door- it looked out into private wooded areas (great for covid safety, and very nice!) I also liked the screened in food prep: it was nice to be able to cook outside without swatting at bugs.
I loved my stay and you will too!
Past trip
in Bluff Hollow Camp on the Root River, MinnesotaBluff hollow was great! The area was private, had a great picnic table, the outhouse was clean, and the trails were nice. The gnats were really really bad, but every thing else was wonderful!
The drive in was rough on my little car with low clearance (even though we didn't drive down to the river), so I'd suggest driving very slow unless you have a little higher clearance
Krista hasn't gone on any trips yet.
