Past trip
in Nelson's Outdoor Resort, FloridaWe had a great stay! Camp site was easy to find and we really enjoyed the picnic benches by the water. The host was nice and helpful. The campsite has restrooms, laundry facilities and we enjoyed chatting with other guests who were all very friendly. Weâd be happy to stay again!

We had a nice stay here! We only stayed for a night so we wish we could have enjoyed more of the property, but we really liked the camp site, the bathrooms were nice, the property was very well shaded, and the host was very helpful even when we arrived late at night. Weâd be happy to stay again!

This was a cute, easy stay on our roadtrip across the country! Great arrival instructions and such a pretty drive to the campsite. Weâd be happy to stay here again!
Past trip
in Scenic View, PennsylvaniaGreat stay! We tent-camped here late on a Saturday night while road tripping across the country. We booked instantly in the app, the property was easy to find even in the dark, and we thoroughly enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere. Allen was kind enough to greet us in the morning (since we arrived around midnight!) and made sure we had a nice stay. We had to get back on the road early, otherwise we would have liked to enjoy more of Allenâs property! Definitely looking forward to staying again during our next roadtrip.
Past trip
in Cleveland National Forest, CaliforniaCamped here the Saturday before Thanksgiving 2019 and really enjoyed it! It wasn't packed, maybe ~10-20% capacity. There's 50 Drive-in sites, some of which are clustered together well enough to make for a great group camping trip. It's $20/night per site, and you pay at the campground entrance. It's a self-service drop box with envelopes, so you can check in at any time of the day or night. Even though it's an honor system, there was a park ranger checking the drop box at 9:30am sharp on Sunday morning so make sure to bring cash! Picnic bench and fire pit ring available at each camp site. Depending what site you're at, it's only a couple hundred paces to water spouts, dumpsters, and stocked latrines. Great drive-in campground!
Past trip
in Angeles National Forest, CaliforniaThis camp site (on the Pacific Crest Trail!) felt pretty remote, yet only required a 0.7 mile "hike" in on an old paved road. There was a decent-sized dirt parking area right next to the gated road to the camp site. We went the first weekend in August 2019, and there was only one other group camping at this location. Plenty of large pine trees for shade and hanging hammocks, plus our site had a great flat spot (without pine needles!) for our tent. Latrines available. Very easy access to the PCT. Disclaimer: The empty beer cans and used banana wrappers in our fire pit made me think that a kid-friendly camping trip here would be a gamble. We didn't look at the other fire pits, so maybe this was an anomaly.
Julia hasn't gone on any trips yet.
