(Dispersed site)
Wasn't sure what to expect when we booked but were pleasantly surprised! Very much like a traditional campground with numbered sites next to each other. Doesn't feel overcrowded and you have a good amount of privacy in each site. We fit 3 cars, 8 people, and 2 dogs in one no problem. There is a good sized field in the center, like a round-a-bout that is used for communal space between all the sites, a great place to set up a volleyball net or play soccer. Plenty of parking space either next to the site or just across the field. There is no river access like advertised online, but you can drive to a river access nearby. Rialto and La Push are also both easily accessible by car. Portapotties were provided and were clean but ran out of toilet paper halfway through the weekend, recommend bringing some of your own. The host was super kind and welcomed us upon arrival. Will definitely stay here again in the future! Thanks for having us!

Jordan K.has mixed feelings towards this listing.
The area is located between two houses and you are staying in this large grassy area next to the road. There isn't much privacy available since it's right on the road but the neighbors are super nice and the grass is well maintained. FYI people drive ridiculously fast on the road. The neighbors have chickens and dogs that they let run free so be prepared to wake up early to their morning call. The location was a great option for a last minute trip to the beach for some surfing.

The location was absolutely gorgeous. We stayed at site #8 and were awestruck by the beauty of the encompassing area, only thing would be how rocky the site was - hard to find a nice area to lay the tent that didn't have rocks or wood chips. With that said, Steppen was super kind and seemed to be really active with the campers helping visitors find their stay or get to different areas of the campsite. Each site seemed to be a far enough distance away from each other that you had a good amount of privacy without feeling isolated. The river was absolutely gorgeous and had plenty of areas to swim that didn't involve sharing too much space with others. Would 100% go back to visit again!
