Not a horrible spot but certain things should be known before booking. If you donât mind these things, book away, but we minded. We had a site reserved for 8 of us but the way the land was with hills, grass, and large boulders, we couldnât even fit 4 tents and while also having our kitchen camping stuff on the available flat areas.
Weird toilet set up-They asked that in the potty you wipe as needed but then put the crappy paper in a trash can and not in the porta potty. The can had a cover on it so it was not a very sanitary process. Disgusting. And Iâm somebody who is a fan of composting toilets. This was not that.
Lastly, we had to carry all our camping gear pretty far to get it to our site. In 90 plus degree weather, carrying and not rolling gear (because of the rocks) was not ideal and when I book I try to avoid places like this, but I didnât know. They did provide a wheelbarrow but it was even longer using it since you had to go a different way with no rocks. I thought I was going to be car camping but our car was actually a small walk away. I just wish I had known before booking.
