Past trip
in Kerouac's Retreat, ArizonaAmazing, private desert campsite
This campsite is incredible! Only 20-30 minutes from the entrance to Grand Canyon, off Route 64. Itâs very private and had terrific, clean amenities, including a fire pit, a hammock, drinking water, a picnic table, and a viewing tent with a screen. There is absolutely no light pollution, so the view of the stars may be literally the best Iâve seen. James was very friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable of the area. He was able to recommend an incredible private trail in the Grand Canyon that made the trip extra special. We would absolutely come back here to stay again - if we didnât have another destination we had to leave to, we would have extended our time.
Past trip
in Mojave Moonlight Camping, CaliforniaGreat secluded desert campsite
This spot is a gem! Itâs about 20 miles south of Barstow, and has a great level of privacy from the road, as it has its own road to behind a sizeable rock. Kim was very responsive and proactive in making my wife and I feel comfortable. Weâre able to reach it with our campervan as well. Would definitely come back!
Past trip
in Cedar Root at Highland Butte, OregonThis spot is amazing! There is an incredible amount of care taken in the property and Brad was very accommodating. Definitely check out the meadow and the trail if you get the chance. Would definitely book again!

(Site)
This campsite was terrific. Our site was right by the Sol Duc River, and filled with natureâs noises at night. There was club moss and beautiful foliage similar to Hoh Rain Forest. Rachel was a wonderful host and even dropped by to tell us about a nearby fireworks show in Sekiu. Would definitely recommend!
John hasn't gone on any trips yet.
