in Harmony's Glamping, CaliforniaFamily summer camp adventure
Harmony and Rob were amazing hosts. We loved the property and all the things they did to accommodate guests. We were looking for a private camping experience to break away from the pandemic Induced isolation. A number of our friends and families committed and made the whole weekend come together.
The hike to the waterfall was an adventure. I recommend the creek path vs. the high trail for the little kids. Lots of rock hopping and in-water hiking, but a way better alternative to the exposed rocks and rope climb down the rock spine. Water shoes are key here.
You do have to keep an eye out for poison oak as you do everywhere outdoors in the foothills of Southern California. But itâs all avoidable if you know what it looks like.
There is plenty to do in the campground area. There is a number of swimming holes to cool off in, and they even installed a rope swing while we were there as an added benefit. In addition, the hot tub was fired up every evening with fresh water and firewood and pairs nicely with a cold plunge in the adjacent stream.
We loved the place and will definitely keep it in our campground rotation in the future.
