Staying at this place was amazing. It was way better than I expected, which is why we stayed for 3 nights instead of just one. After the first night we booked two more. Most of trails were perfect for our 4runner although some were a little too technical for us. If your offroading make sure to pay attention to the elevation changes and were the double black diamonds are on the map. There was a spot or two on different trails that were not marked technical (double black diamond) that looked too dangerous for this amateur. The sites were beautiful, we stayed at wedding bells campsite overlooking a bluff and could hear a waterfall nearby. We hike to the waterfall and along the creek one morning and it was amazing. We drove all over the pristine property and saw all kinds of wildlife. It was like a mini safari with cows, deer, horses, and Buffalo. Being the end of November, no other campers were there and we had the whole place to ourselves. It was a great experience and the memories of this trip will stay with me for life.

I spent two nights here with my girlfriend and dog. The camp was exactly what we were looking for. We usually do truck camping and we were able to drive down pretty close to the river to set up camp. The land was beautiful and cleared enough to have plenty of space. The river was too cold this time of year for us to swim but our dog loved it. We found a spot a little down river where it was shallow enough to walk in. The camp was secluded and private and the weather was perfect. We had a great time and would recommend this camp to others.

Johnnie was very accommodating. One part of our group got there after dark and a good bit later than expected. Instead of trying to get the truck down the trail and set up camp in the dark, Johnnie offered a cabin for them until morning when they could set up camp. He showed us around the property and showed us the river and creeks that run through the property and the various trails. We were able to ride some small trails and cruise the sandbar with our ATV which was a lot of fun. Johnnie even brought us fire wood one evening. The river was cool and a welcoming retreat from the sun. We hung on the sandbar most of the time, swam in the river, and cooked dinner right on the shore over an open fire. We were the only ones out there at that time and it was great. We also did a little hiking around the property. One thing I really liked about the property was we could get our four wheel drive trucks fairly close to the river. Since our tents were truck bed tents, this made it fairly easy to hang out on the sandbar during the day and be able to be close to our vehicle with our tents and other supplies. I would definitely recommend this camp to anyone who wants to be able to swim in the river, ride ATV's and tests your vehicles offroad abilities, have a campfire on the river bank, and have total privacy. It was a beautiful and memorable camping trip.
