Over 3000 acres of spectacular wilderness with over 50 miles of trails to hike or ride.

One of a kind waterfall and cliff side camping is available, BUT YOU NEED A TRAIL READY VEHICLE TO GET TO THEM!

When you book on Hipcamp you will absolutely have a camp site. If there is a specific site you want you must book it on our website.

The Hipcamp sites are a first come first pick from sites that are available when you arrive.

You can reserve specific sites on our website.

There are beautiful sites that you can reach with your daily driver and then hike to see the sites.

Individuals, Groups and Events welcome.

Camping is $15 per person or $50 per family per night.

If you accidentally book your reservation for only one person per night and you arrive with additional people, you will be required to pay the additional fees at check in.

Campsite selection is first come first serve.

Exploring the trails on foot is included. Hiking and climbing is included in your camping fee.

There are trail heads that you can drive most vehicles to and then hike in to the special features.

Accessing the trails in your vehicle will cost you additional fees and your vehicle must be truly TRAIL READY.

If your vehicle is not truly trail ready you should not drive it on the trails. It will get stuck and incur expensive fees and inconvenience to get it out again.

If you bring a trail ready vehicle and want to explore the trails there are ADDITIONAL FEES that can be handled when you arrive. 2 wheels = $20 per rider, 4 wheels - $30 per driver. Passengers are an additional $10 each.

In addition to camping we also offer recreational riding on your ATV, Side by Side, Jeep, dirt bike or bicycle for an extra fee. We have 2500 acres and over 50 miles of scenic trails through pristine wilderness.

There are additional fees for riding your recreational vehicle.

Hiking the property is included in your camping fees.  Wheeled recreation is additional.

MANY campsites require TRAIL READY VEHICLES such as trucks or 4 wheel drive transportation or you can HIKE TO THE SITE.

There are several sites that you can park your normal 2 wheel drive passenger vehicle at, but they are NOT the specialty sites.

Bring your own everything. We are a primitive site only.

If you bring it in you need to take it out with you. This includes trash.

You can’t find even one small inch of this place that isn’t well thought out and beautiful. I spent hours in the woods exploring. Absolutely beautiful. The owner was so welcoming and helpful. I will be coming back here again.

I had such a great experience at Wilderness Buffalo Ranch! Lynn was the sweetest host, and I felt that she genuinely cared about helping make my trip safe and enjoyable. The property is truly beautiful and there is so much to explore. Heads up - camping here is best with a vehicle that does well off-road. I drove here in my Civic and had limited access by car to certain areas due to the terrain...however I intentionally chose this HipCamp because I planned to hike in and camp. That being said, it was ideal for just that! I highly recommend and I plan to return at some point in the future...such a beautiful place

This place was so beautiful, I had no idea what to expect coming into this place and I was blown away! The place was very clean, everyone was very friendly, and there was even a map for the trails for this site! Definitely will be coming back!

When I first read about this place it sounded too good to be true. After spending the weekend there I can say that it was the most fun I have had riding, camping, hiking, taking stunning photos, and climbing I have had in a long time. The owners make you feel like family and the property makes for endless adventures. Just a great experience.
