Forested with River Access/Firepit
in Forested with River Access/Firepit, WashingtonAwesome and huge river side site
Great place right on the river! John and Amy's property is beautiful. There is tons of room in the campsite FOR RVs or lots of tents. There is also plenty of space to set up right at the firepit area, which is a super short walk into the trees right by the river. Great trees for hanging your hammock, too. Hosts were very responsive, helpful, and welcoming. Feels like you are in the middle of nature, but you are close enough to walk into North Bend for drinks or dinner.
Riverside Camping w/ Portable Toilet
in Riverside Farm, WashingtonFun in the river
Great place and great host! Rhonda responded very quickly to all my questions, both before our arrival and while we were on site. The site was huge and very private (this is the only site on property) with awesome river access. There is a very nice picnic table on site. She also provided a big trash can, which was really convenient. There is also a honey bucket just a short walk down the road that was very clean when we arrived. The site is bordered by the river on one side and pasture with horses and cows (including one big boy bull) on the other. The river was also low enough that you could wade over to other bank of an island created by the low water level. You can walk along that bank for quite a ways and then float on a tube back to the site. We even got a visit from a local beaver family on our last night there. If you are looking for a super private site for one family or several, give River Side a try!
