Finnon Lake is now our favorite campgrounds. We have been there 4 times since October 2020. It is quiet with large, very clean campsites. With no motor boats allowed it makes it very serene. There are Eagles, geese, turtles and other wildlife in the lake area. It is simply beautiful there.
The hosts at the campgrounds are very personable, helpful and respectful.
All in all every time has been a 5 star stay!!!!!

We LOVE this campground!!!!! It is very clean, quiet and simply gorgeous! We have been there 3 times within the last 6 months and are booked again for July. It is very peaceful. There is a walking trail around the lake which is a must. Frank’s Diner is fabulous! Frank himself cooks and greats every guest with respect and open arms. He is very accommodating.
The camp hosts were so friendly and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was very special. The bathrooms were very clean and stocked at all times.
Our favorite part was an Eagles 🦅 nest that we could see with our bare eyes across the lake. We were able to watch them hunt, feed their babies and fly all around several times a day. There are 3 eaglets that were born the beginning of April. We took binoculars and a spot scope with us. (a must for everyone). I have no words on how extraordinary it was to experience them.
We feel so blessed to have found this pristine piece of heaven. Would I give it 5 stars??? Nope......10!!!!!
To top it off, it’s only 1 hour from our home.
