David S.has mixed feelings towards this listing.
We had a good stay. The field was well prepared and we were the only campers the first night. We picked a spot at the bottom of the field. A wheel barrow is provided to carry camping equipment to your pitch. The shower was welcome after a day on the beach. The ÂŁ1 for 10mins is well discussed in other reviews. A small fridge and freezer is available near the shower. The photos of the site are, as others mention more impressive than whatâs actual on offer which is simple and adequate. I can imagine facilities could be a bit overstretched when maxed out, but it was fine for us. Our pitch was next to the road which was a bit noisy on and off and your hear the trains, but generally itâs fairly peaceful. Proximity to Aberystwyth and Borth, a much better beach, is good and Iâd rather be here than on a big site rammed with tents and caravans.

Past trip
in Low Gear Farmstead, TexasWe love staying at Lowgear. The river offers cool fun, fishing, boating, swimming. Lots of areas to investigate and enjoy birdwatching walks. Friendly helpful host, Logan and Gear will make you very welcome and share their local knowledge. Menard has a public pool open in summer and Menard Station offers cheap ice, water and coffee for a donation. A great place to unwind.
Past trip
in Low Gear Farmstead, TexasWe love this place. Second visit and weâll be back! The river is great for keeping cool and good for fishing. The welcome is warm and Menard has good facilities including free water and large bags of ice for $1.99 at Menard Station. The pool in Menard open 2-6pm is great too. Friendly town. Beautiful property.

This is a great spot in the park especially if you love horses and are going to ride. Itâs so close to the stable but private and away from the crowds. Cooking on the fire was fun. One has a grill and bar with hooks to hang pots and pans over the fire. The beds in the basic wagon are comfortable and this is a great value place for a group. There were just two of us and full price was a bit steep but the experience good. Friendly and helpful folks. The warm shower and air conditioning were great and much needed in the summer heat.
