in Asheville Area Luxury Solo RV'ing, North CarolinaVery unusual - so many amenities!
This is great site overall. It's very level - I didn't have to use any leveling blocks. Power, water and sewer are all in a convenient location behind the parking pad. You can lock the gate for extra security, but we never felt unsafe at all. The covered deck is a must have - it includes a grill, hot plate, overhead heater and a mounted fan. There is a firepit, 2 sitting areas (chairs) and a hot tub (if you rent it). They offer WiFi, but we had great phone coverage with Verizon/Visible. Check in is a reasonable 3:00, but check out is too early - 10:00. It's hard to break camp in time if you don't get up near the crack of dawn. The host was very friendly - I plan to come back.

Can't add much more than I did in my earlier reviews. The place is beautiful in the Spring and Summer - now the Fall too! The huge firepit was a bonus for the cold nights! We'll obviously be back. Oh - we bought a Mangalista butt for smoking in the next week or two. Can't wait!

I hate to give this an honest review because everybody will want to stay here and it'll be harder for me to book! (but I won't be that way). Easily the best camping experience in my 5 years of owning a travel trailer. You get the awesome boondocking experience without the worry that you're in a sketchy area by yourself. But it's better than typical boondocking in that you get a nearby CLEAN PortaPotty and access to fresh potable water.
As a bonus, you'll get to see Stetson during meals - He has a good nose or a great bio-clock! He's a sweet boy, and was always a welcome sight when he visited. There were other campers nearby, so we didn't feel isolated, but they are far enough away as to not hear what's going on there.
We plan on returning - Catherine and Rick are great hosts.

Catherine is the best host ever. That is all.
Sugar Hollow Solo RV spot
in April O.âs Land, North CarolinaVery private and picturesque.
Very cool site located on the ruins of an old farmhouse - the stone foundation, patios and fireplaces are still standing and make for a picturesque backdrop for a relaxing weekend. Full hookups are a def. plus.
