Intro: I am a nature enthusiast, but also love my creature comforts too. I live for swimming, and sitting around a campfire with a few friends or just by myself.

in Ranchito Feliz, UtahThis place is so special. There are several spots on Roy's property, and each one is unique. Roy finds what works best for your situation. There are friendly dogs, and really sweet donkeys to kick it with. This place is centrally located to soooooo many things, so the perfect place to explore many of Utah's gems.
Site 1 - Water Canyon Campground
in Water Canyon Campground and Resort, UtahWhat a well thought out and accommodating campground! Charles was really responsive and helpful. The solar lights throughout the campground are a really nice touch, as well as a fire extinguisher, for each site.
Site 1 is a walk in site, so be aware of that, but they do have a wagon for your use.
Site 1 is the biggest and most private, and can accommodate 3-4 tents.
Site 2 is the least private, and didn't have a table in it.
Site 3 is really cute, but can only fir one tent
Site 4 has the best view.

They have thought of everything, so you can just roll up, and relax. The mattress is memory foam, the shower is definitely worth it, trust me, and the outdoor kitchen is great.
Rob helped me fix my cargo carrier, when I arrived, which was above and beyond.
The only drawback is that there is a covered wagon pretty close, so it doesn't feel as private as some might like.
I would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for something special.

in Mojave Desert Ranch, NevadaAlways a pleasure staying here. No need to unpack the car, just roll up, and relax.
Ranchito Feliz

What an incredible offering Roy has to people wanting to be in nature, yet have creature comforts, as well. The sites are very accommodating, and well thought out. There is a sense of total security and privacy on his land, which is nice. Very central location to so many adventure spots, and Roy can point you in the right direction, if you are not sure where to go.
Glamping Tent
in Mill Creek Resort, CaliforniaZion Wright Family Ranch-ecocamping
in Zion Wright Ranch Eco-Camp, UtahIf you are in the area, this is the place to camp. The roads are really good right now. The port a potties were clean, and the land is just insanely beautiful. There were a few others while I was out there, but everyone was quiet and respectful.
Madrone Village: Site #2
in Madrone Village, CaliforniaI really enjoyed my stay here, and will definitely come back. They are still getting set up, and need to work out a few kinks, but have a beautiful property, and are doing it right.
The tent was comfortable, and the "breakfast nook" area was really lovely. The showers were nice, but require instruction on how to use.
The tents are really close together, and so, do not afford much privacy. Ear plugs, and perhaps a sound machine would be helpful, if others are staying there, as well.
#3 is kinda hard to access, and a wagon helped those staying in that one.
#4 is the furthest from the others, but no parking in front, like #1 and #2 have.
The porta potty was overdue to be serviced, which was unfortunate, and the people's dog, next to me barked at every little thing, and was very aggressive, so that was challenging, but other than that, the place was nice, and I'm sure they will continue to make improvements the longer they host Hipcampers.
Site 4 - Creekside Campground
in Creekside Campground, OregonNot my cup of tea
This listing was not my cup of tea, but to each their own. The porta potties were clean, but that is the only positive thing I can really say.
Friendly host, though.
This property does not offer any privacy. The sites are right next to one another, and all conversations feel public.
There was not really anywhere to set up along the creek, so if the creek is the draw for you, I would look elsewhere.
I was hoping for something that felt more natural, but this felt like camping in someones backyard. It felt very domestic, but some people probably don't mind that.
The no fire thing was a bummer, because propane just isn't even close to the real thing, but I knew this going in.
