Madrone Tree Hill
in Madrone Tree Hill, CaliforniaNice and quiet retreat!
Peaceful little retreat among the trees, but close enough to town if you forget anything. About an hour from SLT. Easy to get to and a lot of signs to point you toward your site.
I canât speak to noise level on the weekends but it was very quiet and peaceful during my stay, and Gordon provides you with his contact information if there are any noisy guests during quiet hours.
FYI - this is Aragogâs summer vacation home so if you or anyone in your group has serious arachnophobia, donât say I didnât warn you. :-)
#7 - Large Sunny Family Spot
in Jug Handle Creek Farm, CaliforniaThe campground was very easy to find coming off the highway. When we arrived, the office was closed (even though it was after 3:00 pm-the check in time). There was a note on the door saying to fill out the self-registration form in the box to the right, but there were only brochures in the box...We had made a reservation, so we just drove up to the left where the camp sites were located. We had to unlock a little chain gate to get through, but it wasn't difficult! Our camp site (No. 5) was the last one on the road and it was so cute and snug back in the Northern Ca woods. Definitely would go back again.
