Wendyâs land was a great place to stay. We only stopped overnight while passing thru, but the sites were clean, private, and spacious. We arrived in the dark and had no problems finding the camp.

in Two Sisters Dry Camp, NevadaBill H.recommends this listing.
(Dispersed site)
Our stay at Two Sisterâs camp was really chill. It was easy to find but easily lost in the wide open space. They have set up an adorable lil homestead with bunnies, chickens, kitties, and pups. Tricia was a special soul. A very wonderful lady. Inviting and truly cared about our stay.

Past trip
Gold mining fun @ LONESTAR Goldmine
in Lonestar Goldmine. Rest & Relax, CaliforniaLovely spot!! Beautiful creek in its own little canyon just a short hike down the hill. The site was in a good size clearing among the giant trees. We didnât look for gold, as we were just passing through. Allen was very helpful and responsive when I had trouble finding the gate. It was after hours of driving and the sun was setting so stress was a little high, but he stayed on the phone and got me there. Heâs going to get a sign by the gate to help.
Past trip
in Havilah Pines homestead, CaliforniaBeautiful spot to stay. Awesome mountain drive in. The shaded sight was perfect after staying in the desert and visiting Death Valley. Danny and his dog stopped in to make sure everything was good. Super friendly.
Past trip
Site 2 - Short Branch Saloon Campsites
in Miss Kathy's Short Branch, NevadaCool little spot in the middle of nowhere. Owners seemed nice but we were beat from the heat and didnât hang out, though we were offered a cold beer. Sites 2 and 3 are right on top of each other so if someone else was camping there would have been no privacy. You are in a gravel parking lot behind the old saloon.
Past trip
in Shady Grove at OwlTree Farm, ColoradoStayed here as a stop by on the way to the Sand Dunes. Felt super safe and was pretty quiet for everything being close by. The site (#2) was comfortably private with an RV just within sight through the trees to our left and right. Didnât take time to meet the host.
Past trip
Between the Ponds
in The Draper Property, DelawareYet another great stay at the ponds. The leaves are changing color and the weather was perfect for fall camping. Still got some fish to bite. More pickerel than bass. Michele was as always in touch and very accommodating.
Bill hasn't gone on any trips yet.
Hipcamp Hosts can leave an optional review of their Hipcampers after the trip is completed. This is where those reviews from Hipcamp Hosts will appear.

Site 6 - Sandstones Ranch & Amphitheater
in Painted Desert Sunsets, ArizonaOur stay was great! We set up behind the amphitheater by the old hippie bus. The peaks on the horizons were beautiful all day. It was a close drive to petrified forest. The energy on the land was fantastic and we had a great time hiking the mesa. The host called with great directions and it was just hard enough to find to feel like an adventure. Driving along the railroad tracks with trains was especially fun.
