Past trips
Ocotillo Grande
in Good Guad Land Co., TexasGreat spot!
A great dispersed camping spot! The picnic tables were nice to have too. So peaceful to be out there on my own and the locked gate makes you feel safe. The road there wasnât bad, just go slow. My subaru made it fine. You can hear the highway noise a bit but nothing terrible. Wes was easy to communicate with and will drop you directions so itâs easy to find! Sunset and sunrise views of Guadalupe Mountain National Park is beautiful
in Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park, California
Crowded in the summer but beautiful spot.
in Morro Bay State Park, California
Love this campground, spots are close together and out in the open but a quick escape right next to the water is worth it.
in Cleveland National Forest, California
Going during the week mid summer was fantastic! No one around!
in San Elijo State Beach, California
Beautiful being by the beach but lots of families and crowded
in San Bernardino National Forest, California
Nice spot by the water
in Kings Canyon National Park, California
Crowded
in San Bernardino National Forest, California
We went to Lake Arrowhead for a short weekend trip in late August/ September and it was still pretty busy with families, not recommended if you want a quiet site.
in Inyo National Forest, California
I've gotten lucky finding a spot the night of both times visiting Whitney Portal, but wouldn't recommend that method as it books up here fast! Try and book beforehand.
in Joshua Tree National Park, California
Awesome campground for groups! Lots of space!
in Joshua Tree National Park, California
My favorite Joshua tree campground. It gets busy but you can usually find some privacy with all the large boulders.
