Intro: We usually travel with our 15-foot Taxa Cricket, which we love. We tow it with our Subaru Crosstrek. And have taken it as far as from Seattle to North and South Dakota and back.

Off-Grid Eco House + Forest Hot Tub
in 9Mile Hot Soak on Marrowstone Isle., WashingtonThis is a fun little place to stay! It was a bit chilly during our visit, as March tends to be cold and damp and the only heat is a small woodstove.
Staying there in summer, with a few kiddos, would probably be perfect, as the kids would have the "sleeping tent" and porch swing bed to sleep on outside, which I'm sure they'd love.
Do be aware that there really aren't lights, or running water. There is a water dispenser with non-potable water at the kitchen sink (although it could have used a good scrubbing). And the kitchen is well stocked with dishes, utensils, pots and pans, etc. Just bring what you want to cook on the 4-burner propane stove!
Rivers Grace site 4
in Rivers Grace, WashingtonReally enjoyed our stay here right next to the Skagit River! Host Michael was super helpful and hard-working. Even helped us jump start our car. Restrooms were very clean. Lots of trees for shade on hot, sunny days. The river is fast-flowing so not safe for swimming, but there are some places for fishing. The place has only been open a month or two (as of July 2023) and they are adding amenities, so expect some changes and some "construction dust" during the day when most campers are away from camp and out and about. We plan to go back!
Open Camping Choice on Property
in Run w/ Alpacas Farm Stay Port Angeles, WashingtonAlpacas!!!
Fantastic! It was the most interesting, educational, and fun place we have ever stayed. Make sure you take a tour - Awesome. We didn't want to leave.
Park & Camp In Your Vehicle up 21'
in Under The Cedars Retreat, WashingtonThe Fresh Air Music & Arts Farm
in The Fresh Air Music & Arts Farm, WashingtonDefinitely not your typical RV park! Great for boondocking. There are a few spots with 30 amp power and maybe water? We hooked up to 30 amp. He's just getting started and his ideas for the site sound great. We enjoyed our visit and the alpacas, llamas, goats, sheep and pig were fun to visit.
