Needed a last minute tent spot for one night, was delighted to find this charming and quirky campground. Hosts and staff are fantastic, bathroom was clean, campground is nice and well maintained, and in a pretty setting. Just what I wanted for a quick stop over on a road trip. Nice and quiet during the week in May, wouldn't mind staying when there is live music. I haven't used hipcamp much, but like it so far, very easy to book and pay.

Tent site as advertised, it was exactly what I expected. Primitive camping, few amenities, just a cleared spot in the woods. We just needed a legal spot to pitch a tent for the night, and we couldn't find much in the area. This worked great. Surprisingly private. Hosts are excellent. The trail up to the site is steep, and only accessible by proper off road vehicles or by walking. I can confirm a dual sport motorcycle with knobby tires makes it no problem, although it would not be fun if it's wet. (I appreciated being allowed to ride up, hauling our stuff up the hill after a long day would have been hard). Big adventure bikes are fine unless you are new to off road riding. A picnic table and a slightly more level tent spot would make it better. There is a fire ring with a small grill, which we used as a table. The outhouse is a rustic outhouse. I would camp there again, and would like to check out the B&B.
