Past trip
in Paisano Azul Ranch, TexasThis place was great! I would definitely come back if I was ever back in Terlingua. It was a wonderful location- close to the park and close to a very well stocked mini-mart. The location was pretty and felt private, and Jason did a good job of making sure we were comfortable. He also did a great job of keeping the porta potties clean. The Wi-Fi and showers were an added bonus.
If any potential campers are reading this, make sure you pitch your tent well because it can get windy. Also, the neighbor's dog barked, so if you're a very light sleeper, consider ear plugs.
Past trip
in Camp Gaughan, New HampshireBeautiful flat area to camp right next to a babbling brooke. The fire ring was also fun and the pit toilet was clean and well stocked. Based on the instructions provided, it was a tiny bit hard to determine exactly where we were supposed to camp. But, once we figured it out, we had a great camping experience.
Hannah was also very communicative!
Past trip
in The Beech Hill Tent Sites, New HampshireAwesome psite! simple, but stunn
This place was absolutely magical! The view across the field of the mountains is really awesome. We had great views of the stars and the field was full of fireflies. If you're down for an early wake up, the sunrise is also unreal. There was another group camping there too, but the field is big enough that we didn't hear them at all. Matthew was also a great, fast communicator. We had a tiny bit of trouble finding the place. Originally we went up the wrong driveway; don't go up the driveway with the mailbox that has the correct name/ address number. Instead, go a little bit past that to a dirt driveway. If you follow the pin that Matthew dropped on the Hipcamp app, that was accurate.
Past trip
in Grand Army Farm, Missouri We had a great stay at Rosalie's spot!! We really loved all the animals -- I was especially charmed by the gray cat and goat #2111!!! Very pretty property and Rosalie was kind/accommodating. Potential campers should be aware that it is very farmy - there are lots of animals, we woke up to animal sounds, and there's quite a bit of goose poop. If you like farm animals, you'll love this place. If you don't, maybe look elsewhere. Definitely bring ear plugs.
Past trip
Frisbie's Back Forty
in Frisbie's Back Forty, FloridaI had a great multi-day stay on Janice's property. I would highly recommend staying here. Especially for bikers using the Santos trailhead, the location is perfect and convenient! She has a big, nice, perfectly flat yard which worked well for my tent. Additionally, she has a nice toilet system set up for her guests. Janice is very kind and went above and beyond to make sure that I was comfortable and enjoying my stay. She also offered good recommendations for things to do in the area.
ALEXANDRA hasn't gone on any trips yet.
Hipcamp Hosts can leave an optional review of their Hipcampers after the trip is completed. This is where those reviews from Hipcamp Hosts will appear.
