Past trip
in Fruitdale Farm, OhioMy wife and I enjoyed a wonderful stay at the Little Fern Cabin. The cabin and kitchen gazebo were extremely charming and well taken care of. The labor and love that Aimee has poured into her entire property is palatable and I'm certain that all her guests feel it. She should be very proud of what she has built there.
All the accommodations were accurate to the listing. I do suggest adding some hooks to the walls in the guest bathroom attached to Aimee's house. When showering, it would have been immensely helpful to have somewhere to hang clothes/towels, etc.
For our weekend stay, we had the whole property to ourselves so we did not experience what it would be like to share spaces with anyone else. We visited Paint Creek Lake and Highlands Nature Sanctuary which are each beautiful and around 15 minutes away.
The Little Fern Cabin proved to be a cozy, serene haven and I would highly recommend it for anyone looking for a weekend away.
Past trip
in Fool's Grove, MarylandElizabeth is a very cordial host and her site proved to be great! My wife and I were looking for a place to stay while we visited the Assateague and Chincoteague Islands (highly recommended if you haven't been there). Elizabeth's place was an awesome location for that. It was a buggy at our site so do make sure you have insect repellent. Even though we did not spend much time at the site, we enjoyed the nature and privacy found there.
Adam hasn't gone on any trips yet.
