Working on Facebook, Instagram, and a website. Search for: Old Mill Falls My Neighbor has started his own Campsite, "The Swimming Hole". If mine is booked and you still want to camp, look him up. He is better suited for small groups and has more privacy. Easy drive right to the campsite There is plenty of soft sand to set up one tent or ten tents; large groups are welcome for an extra fee. A Porta-Potty is available at the campsite. Swimming is usually possible at the base of the falls; however, the weather can change conditions and make it unusable. I should also add that this is not completely private. The camp is visible from a shared driveway, and my residence is up a hill that overlooks the area. Also, I do not own the land on the other side of the stream. Occasionally, the owners of that land will also end a weekend afternoon enjoying the waterfall view Still much quieter and more private than a regular campground. Close to the U.S. National Whitewater Center (mountain biking, whitewater rafting, kayaking), Kings Mountain National Military Park (Horseback riding and history), Crowders Mountain (Hiking), 3 miles off of I-85 and US-321 for people passing through.

Dogpatch Farms is a farm offering Broad River access( canoe portage under construction but usable) campsites with the goal of making camping affordable again. We aren’t shooting for fancy or flashy just a clean quiet spaces and friendly safe environment where a person or group can enjoy nature without breaking the bank. We have one space for a RV/Camper with power water and septic dump ( down by the Barndo) and only a few with power and water only ( up by the well house)($60 and $40 per night respectively). Primitive areas vary from hillside, river side and open field all of which have an indoor toilet access and outside ( soon inside too) shower. Barndo is an active construction zone as we turn it into a full facility with cooking and laundry benefits so don’t expect fancy but that’s not our goal. Expect to see a sweet dog, a goat and probably a chicken ( and even enjoying a free egg) and definitely a tractor. Have a good time but I don’t tolerate stupid and you are expected to not leave a mess like a true outdoorsman should. There is an of wildlife including beavers, turkeys( roosting in the valley), deer and such to see because of our low impact approach so observe but don’t harass. We hope to become your destination and guide to the great outdoors.

The dock and very private lake were lovely. I swam several times. I enjoyed the shade of the trees near the lake and my hammock I put up. I also had a fantastic time using one of the kayaks and exploring the lake. I saw several Eagles and Osprey and Herons and plenty of fish jumping. I also thought it a nice touch to provide firewood, water, electric, and a bag of goodies.

We had such a wonderful stay at Eagles Landing while celebrating my Husband's birthday! From the moment we arrived, we knew we had found a special place. The property is beautiful, peaceful, and private. Having the entire place to ourselves made it the perfect getaway. We spent our days relaxing by the water, fishing, cooking, and enjoying time together. Hubby even tried kayaking for the very first time! 🛶 We didn't catch any fish, but we made some wonderful memories. Kevin was an absolutely fantastic host and truly went above and beyond. Before our arrival, he reached out with thoughtful questions about our preferences and how he could make our stay more enjoyable. It was clear he genuinely cared about his guests. On our first evening, Kevin stopped by to check on us and brought us some refreshments. We had a wonderful visit! He also unlocked the shed so we could use the chairs and kayaks, gave us recommendations for local restaurants, and talked with Big Daddy about fishing in the area. We appreciated how welcoming and helpful Kevin was while still giving us all the privacy we wanted. This was more than just a place to park our RV—it was a peaceful, relaxing birthday getaway that we'll remember for a long time. ❤️ We absolutely loved our stay and definitely plan to return! We loved our stay for four nights. Don’t let the lack of septic stop you from staying here. The state park is very close and allows you to dump there. The property was kept up so well. The hosts had great communication and still gave us plenty of privacy. Fishing/swimming from the dock wasn’t the best as most of it was taken up by their boat and there was a lot of grass and plants around the edges but the use of their kayaks was great! We enjoyed some bird watching too. We would stay again.

Very quiet and relaxing location. Set back about 150’ from the lake and on an extremely quiet road. This was a very relaxing weekend. Ann was super nice and brought us a dozen of her delicious eggs from her chickens. We really enjoyed kayaking on the lake and star gazing!

7 nights at Cedar Grove Farm RV Site

The site was amazing and the only one allowing for great privacy. The site also has full hook ups, great water pressure and the star gazing was wonderful. Starlink had plenty of open sky to connect us to work with a 99.8% connection. We will absolutely be coming back while visiting family in the area. Thank you Chad and Julie for the amazing stay. We look forward to the next visit! 😊

Weekend Trip to Acts In Motion Sacred Ranch

Had a very chill and relaxing time! Jeff was there to greet us and his wife gave us a tour! I’m in love with their Great Pyrenees. They had excellent hospitality and equally gave us our space. We had a huge fire in their pit and felt right at home!
