This campsite offers a stunning natural setting with panoramic views, particularly noted for its sunrise and stargazing opportunities. Guests consistently appreciate the warm hospitality of hosts Richard and his family, who are friendly and accommodating without being intrusive. While the site provides a truly immersive nature experience, it's important to note the lack of amenities like bathrooms, which some campers may need to prepare for. Overall, the positive interactions with hosts and the unique opportunity to engage with farm animals like alpacas are highlights for many visitors.

Great place to camp!
Tent · With kids
Super nice host who gave our kids a tour of the farm as we arrived during feeding time! Great place for camping out on the top of a wide open field, with a nice fire pit to utilize. We would revisit if we were in the area again.

Couldn’t be happier!

We adored this spot! Perched on top of the highest hill, we had such a great view of the rolling hills and forest in the distance. You have to wake up early for the sunrise if you stay here, it completely took our breath away! The host was incredible, attentive, and just overall a good person. We will be back! (This spot is best for completely nomadic camping as there are no bathrooms, which we loved).

A great night
Tent
We had the best stay. The property was beyond gorgeous. The owner of the land was courteous and nice to be around. He even set up the fire as we set up our tent. In the morning, the owner let us feed the alpacas and the calf while we exchanged conversation. During the night we were left to complete privacy. We plan on going back as soon as possible.

We loved the spectacular view from the site that is on top next to the alpacas and horse. Richard is a great host! Friendly and helpful while also respectful of our privacy. We camp in a small camper van and brought a portable pop up canopy tent, which was a good idea, as on a sunny day it is nice to have the shade. The location is fairly close to the PA Grand Canyon. If you are looking for the quaint small town experience with good dining and shopping, Wellsboro, PA is about 50 minutes away. To summarize, the overall experience was fantastic! 5 Star host, site, communication, helpfulness....
