Rural farm camp in Yakima's west valley. This relaxed campsite is bordered by fruit orchards and farms on a very quiet dead end road. Over two acres of field grass surrounding by rolling hills with views of farms, cows, horses, and the eastern foothills of the Cascade mountains. There is a 1/2 acre pond on the camp property with frogs, turtles, wild birds and wild ducks and geese drop in all the time. Very quiet and peaceful out here, the frogs will sing you to sleep and that's about the only sound you will hear. There is power and water hooks up at 2 of 3 camp sites. Multiple tent sites , restroom available Two large and level RV spots are graveled and can accommodate your 5th wheel, diesel pusher, trailer or toy hauler. The third RV/camp spot is grass but also large and level. This grass spot is dry camping but water is available from nearby spigot and a generator is also available for rent at $20/night. Forgot your wood? No problem, firewood is always available $ 5.00/bundle. There are fire rings at each site for your use (unless burn ban in effect) Camp host always has plenty of S'mores supplies (complimentary of course) for that campfire treat. :) Visit our hen house! There are forest service roads and trail riding nearby. Jeep and off road groups come from all over the state to ride in the foothills, just 30 minutes away. Winter time campers are welcome too! Winter access is easy, county road to entrance of Hipcamp is plowed by county road crews and as host I have tractor 🚜 to plow the camp area prior to your arrival. Snowmobiles are welcome in winter and you get a reduced nightly rate. Ride and play in the snow around the camp property or drive 20 minutes to foothills with trails and forestry roads open to sleds. Bring the whole group, plenty of room on this property for as many as 20 rigs and trailers.

Located in Naches Heights among orchards and vineyards, Cowiche Canyon and hiking trails adjacent. (Please note: Although we are a permaculture farm, we are surrounded by both conventional and organic agriculture.) Close to White Pass and the Tieton, Naches and Yakima rivers. The cabin (Cathaus) is part of our local agricultural history. It was built in the 1964 by my grandfather to house migrant workers during apple picking season and that is how it was used until the late 1980s. It is not fancy, but it is cozy. Filled with books from local authors (Raymond Carver, Justice William O'Douglas, etc) and on local topics including tribal and labor history. Goats, alpacas, chickens on site. Free range cats. Wineries next door. Brewery closeby. Close to town but peaceful and quiet. Host is a bioregional herbalist and can offer advice for seasonal foraging options. You are likely to see us working in the shop and on the grounds. We will also do our best to give you your privacy. Composting toilet, refrigerator, cold potable water sink available outdoors.

We live in a beautiful location! The main attraction is the outdoors. The large Ponderosa pines and oak trees surrounding the safari tent fill the air with a scent that some say smells like vanilla. Birds chirp, deer graze, and squirrels gather food throughout the day. Sit on the porch and watch it all happen—it truly is relaxing! I want to mention that the stargazing here is amazing! Simply press the power button on the back of the solar panel to turn off the lights for a better view of the night sky. Please turn them back on when you're finished, if you remember. Be sure to visit Goldendale Observatory. It boasts one of the largest public telescopes in the nation, and admission is free. Guest Access The property is located on 20 private wooded acres. There are 10 sites on the property. You are welcome to walk around the acreage, but please be respectful of other guests and their campsites. The property is fully fenced, and the only way in and out is through the front entrance at this time. Please do not enter neighboring properties. We had a wonderful stay at Starlit Glamping! The RV was spotless, comfortable, and stocked with everything we needed. The hosts were incredibly kind, helpful, and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The campground was quiet and peaceful and the perfect place to relax. One of our favorite parts was watching the deer wander through the area while we enjoyed some time in the hammock. We had such a great experience and would absolutely recommend Starlit Glamping to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. We would definitely stay here again!

Great tiny cabin with a cozy, comfortable bed. We really liked how open air it was with the hinged window/wall open during the day, but it also felt well-enclosed at night. The campground as a whole had lots of amenities provided, like soap and dishtowels at the shared sink, and paper towels, lanterns and bug spray in the cabin. I also appreciated that the grounds were well lit. One negative was that the flap over the window was blowing in the window overnight and was pretty noisy, but it was quite windy, so I'm not sure if it's usually a problem. We really liked it and would stay there again, hopefully for longer.
