This is a essentially a private campsite with a million dollar view during the day, and wonderful stargazing at night!
We welcome dogs and don't charge additional fees for you to bring your dog(s) to camp. The park allows dogs into the park BUT NOT ON ANY TRAILS! (Only the national “forests” allow dogs on trails, not national parks.) PLEASE, let us know you are bringing dog(s), when you request to book. We currently have 2 dogs - our boy Chance is a 6yo Husky Doberman mix; and we rescued and are fostering a (approx 3yo) Great Dane, Winston! Unfortunately, we can NOT dog sit your dog(s) while you are in the park having 2 large male dogs in our house. Also you can not leave the dog alone in the campsite.
We are in Three Rivers - the southern Ash Mountain gateway to the Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. Our town has some wonderfully unique restaurants, creative shops and even a delicious brewery with seating next to the River!
Our hillside property has great Mountain View’s and the driveway turns directly off of Sierra drive, four miles past the town center (3R post office) and just 2 miles from the Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks entrance. There’s even a convenience store a quarter mile away! It's conveniently located and easy to find! You can (seasonally) hear the tranqual sounds, or all out roar of the flowing Kaweah river from across the street.
Sorry, there is NO river access from this campsite. You can go to Slick Rock Recreation area, Lake Kaweah or into the parks to swim, boat, fish and more. Lake Kaweah is about 8 miles away. You drive around it after you top the hill entering Three Rivers.
My wife Elizabeth and I bought our log home in 2015 and we have been dreaming and adding here ever since! Our dog Chance chases all the fun wildlife off of our property. In addition to deer, we have seen fox, bob cats, an Ocelot, too many coyotes, wild turkeys and bear crossing an animal highway along our upper hillside property line. Hawks, hummingbirds, quail, blue birds, woodpeckers and yellow bellied finches are regularly seen here as well. We have had turkey families coming through frequently recently! Owls have been heard; but not seen.
We love our country home and mountain views, and look forward to sharing them with you!

This area was once inhabited by local native American Tribes. In the 1840's prospectors arrived in search of gold but none was found in the immediate area. Old Yosemite Base camp was along the route into Yosemite National Park prior to the construction of Highway 41. Horse and Carriage traveled along Old Yosemite Road from Mariposa and the entire golden state. Visitors from the world now pass through Oakhurst to Yosemite National Park along this route. Hipcampers, come pitch your tent at one of five Old Yosemite Base Camp (OYBC) drive in and walk in sites. OYBC offers over six acres of pine, oak, and bay trees, sprinkled around large granite features that remind you that Half Dome is not far away! Each unique site is equipped with a stone fire ring with cook top and a picnic table accommodating four person dining. Old Yosemite Base Camp is the perfect place to enjoy the sunset and stargaze next to a campfire after an adventurous day in the southern Yosemite region. Yosemite tent camping without all the crowds and tour buses is what you can expect. Backing up to the Sierra National Forest OYBC is conveniently located near HWY 41 just 14 miles from Yosemite’s south gate entrance. The region also offers a large amount of hiking trails where you can find swim holes, waterfalls giant sequoias, lakes, and rivers. Take 15-minute drive to Bass Lake and enjoy water sports and lake view dining.
OYBC offers five camp sites and all wheel drive is required to get to the top of camp. OYBC sites 1, 2, 3, are drive up sites and 4 & 5 are walk in sites that have a separate parking area. All wheel drive is still needed to get to this lot.
Have a large group? Old Yosemite Base Camp offers discounts for larger parties of up to 25 campers. Message OYBC to reserve the whole mountainside to yourselves!

There are 33 giant sequoia groves in our Southern Region of the Giant Sequoia National Monument, some easily driven to, and some remote. Our ranch is a nature preserve and an education demonstration site, teaching sustainable and regenerative land use practices. River Ridge Institute, our non-profit, hosts a variety of events for the public.
Please note: you are expected to leave the ranch and kitchen area as you found it, i.e., dishes washed thoroughly and dried and put away, recycling separated from trash, food scraps in compost buckets, sticky marshmallow removed from forks and surfaces (ick!). Thank you.
Enjoy: The Kitchen has a 3-burner cooktop, large fridge, microwave, full dishes and utensils and pots and pans with a big washing area in the back. Propane barbecue grill.. There's a River Barn to use as a remote space and Turtle Cove for swimming. Saturday morning Farmer's Market in downtown at 9 AM - Noon.
Ancestral land of the Foothill Yokuts tribe. Homesteaded in 1859, owned by the Negus family from 1909-2000. Barbara and I bought it to save it from subdivision and it's now protected by a Conservation Easement and acts as a community center for the arts, music, poetry, gatherings and outdoor education. I'm a musician, and I love sharing my instruments, so don't be shy about asking to borrow one. We're always happy to share a meal, let the kids run around together, or just sit and feed the animals for a while. But if you're here for peace and quiet, that's just as welcome. This is a place for whatever you need.

Stop and stay night in our Upstairs Bed and Bath Studio with toilet and shower. We also have a day camp for use upon request.
Our 17-Acre property has a great view of Moro Rock. We are right off Sierra Dr. (Hwy-198) and just 4 miles from the Sequoia National Park. We have parking for car, truck and trailer or boat and RV's.
Our Studio B and B has a queen bed and sofa bed, kitchenette, bathroom and shower.
Our Day Camp has a picnic table, umbrella, chairs and BBQ.

This place is so magical! Musick Cove is right next to the waterfall, and is an absolutely perfect place to camp. You get to fall asleep to the rushing water, have a place to cool off on hot days, and see some really amazing scenery! The hosts are great and very helpful. I definitely recommend staying here.

What a beautiful, quiet spot!
We spent 3 nights here and we will be back.
The dog loved being able roam around freely.
Michael and his wife are amazing hosts! Very understanding and helpful. I could not have asked for a better place to relax.

This was our first stay here and definitley won't be our last. Things we loved: plenty of space between RVs, neighbors were very respectful of the quiet hours, very close to the pines resort village and the lake (we rode our bikes), our toddler loved the playground, the pool area looked great, and there were some trails just a short walk away! In short, it was a perfect family-friendly camping retreat.

This is a beautifully secluded spot, close to Yosemite with gorgeous sunset views. It's a vast, private space with a chimnea, hammock and outdoor kitchen and toilet facilities. The host popped up to say hello with her dog, and was super friendly and accommodating.

This is a great spot off the beaten path! Unbelievable views with great sunsets and with Musick Creek right near the camp sites a great place to explore or just sit and listen to the waterfalls. We hope to come back another time.

Musick Cove completely exceeded my expectations. I came as a solo traveler and was made to feel genuinely welcome from the moment I arrived.
The hosts are warm, generous and just good people. They went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed — from lending me gear to surprising me with pizza and a chocolate malt that I'm still thinking about!
The property itself is beautiful — the sound of the falls as your backdrop is something else. Even with a storm rolling through, the place had its own magic.
If you're looking for a spot where nature meets genuine hospitality, this is it. I'll absolutely be back on a sunny day. Highly recommend! 🙏

5 nights at Tiny Cabin In The Sierras
The space was used very well and very comfortable! I felt no shortage in accommodations.
It was little confusing with the images because there is a pond but it was at the front of the community while the cabin was in the back. It is walkable but it probably take around 15 minutes or a short drive through the neighborhood.
Cooking on the grill was nice and I loved having coffee on the porch and observing the different walks of nature.

This was a secluded, beautiful spot not far from "downtown" Oakhurst, perfect for my overnight needs. The site was level, shaded and comfortable, the waterfall sounds lulled me to sleep. Host Hudson was super helpful when I needed to tarp my small box truck, loaning a stepladder and help in the rain! The full service bath adjacent to the main house was warm, clean and comfy.
