Very rustic and primitive. Consider actual trail markers if you’re going to continue offering trips to the river.

Teresa was so attentive to detail and making sure we made our way ok and had enough fire wood due to the excess from trimming on the land. She and her whole family and animals were so sweet and awesome to be around. And we enjoyed visiting the beautiful creek, and the sequoia mountains during our stay. It was mostly peaceful, aside from one neighbor who was playing music into the late hours. And the turkeys goblin 😹 So if you’re a light sleeper, be prepared with some foam ear plugs just in case.
Overall, we’ll return to this beautiful place, and recommend you stay for a visit!

Theresa made this such a great experience. She showed us around, picked a salad from her garden for us, shared all of her knowledge about edible plants. Her dogs were amazing especially the white one. My daughter and I felt safe and comfortable there. Not only was it a great experience I feel like I left with a new friend.

Teresa was a great host! she met up with us so we wouldn't get lost getting to the property. I would say this is a great place to camp at especially if you're trying to stay local to Kings Canyon & Sequoia Ntl parks.
Didn't get to explore much of the property since we had a quick trip, but would definitely come back one day again.

Teresa is awesome and the camp site was perfect for our trip to Sequoia National Park.
Campsite is easy to get to on google maps and isn’t far from Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park. Thank you so much Teresa! We hope to stay there again!

Outrageous to call this site 'Eden'. Our site was littered with trash, dumped fridges and a large used potty seat all in view of our tent with a lot more trash, broken sheds etc when you enter into the site. We stayed for one night and then made our way into Sequoia National Park which was significantly cheaper and truly is an Eden. Our original booking was for 4 nights and the host would not refund us for the remaining 3 but thankfully Hipcamp did (thank you Hipcamp!). We would not recommend this site.

Riverside Eden
The stream in the bottom of River eden is one of the clearest, untouched pices of nature we’ve seen. Giant granite rocks creates the most amazing topography for the water to run in. Teresa and her family were very nice, invited us to have dinner with them and gave us a wonderful opportunity to get to know them a little better. That said, three things that Are important to know: the campsite is up on a steep mountain road, and all the restaurants and groceries are at the foot hill; the surface on the campsite was dusty and with a lot of dry weeds; and the acsses to the stream is a 10 minuets of going down hill in a steep , sometimes slippery trail. That didn’t prevent us from going down there and enjoying this paradise for a whole day of exploring and bathing ❤️ I would definitely recommend coming here, if you don’t mind the rough side of it and love secluded marvelous nature sites..

This place was lovely, but there are a few things people should know when booking. Follow the host's directions, or you will get lost. There are three dogs on the property, which was fine for us. They got along great with our dog and we loved them. There are also roosters, chickens, and cats. The roosters give a lovely very early morning wake up call. We didn't mind because we started our day early, but some may mind. We stayed at site 5 and were very happy with the location, especially the shade. There is a water spout at every site except the ones on the river, which is also great. We did hike down to the river. The trail could use a little clearing but it is very beautiful back there. The best part was being close to King's Canyon and Sequoia National Park. We had a great time spending our days in the parks and retreating back to our camp site. This space is definitely for more rustic campers, but would definitely recommend. Hosts were very welcoming and concerned about our experience.

We had a wonderful time with our 4 year old son camping in the shade of the trees during our stay. Teresa's family was warm and welcoming to us, and we even had an evening drumming circle with them. We didn't hike down and camp by the creek, but since we had our son we chose the sites where we could have our car near us. It still felt private. We had access to fresh mountain water and the porta potty was also nice to have available. One of their sweet cats adopted us for the stay and a chicken hung out at our camp for most of a morning. All in view of a fruit orchard and organic gardens. This was a great launching place for us into the King's Canyon and Sequoia National Parks, about 40 min away. Looking forward to camping there again!

Good communication with host. Camp site was lovely and near a peaceful stream. Private sites, friendly fellow campers. Quiet. Hike into camp with some evidence of property clean up, but site itself was clean. ATT cell reception does not work in this area, so communicate w host way before arriving! :)

Teresa and her family were really nice. Right from starting with giving us the directions, preparing food for us helping us guiding to the parks. Their family is really interesting with lots of interesting stories and getting to know them was one of the best thing. I would definitely recommend any camper to choose this site if you're looking for fun, interesting and amazing time around with family. It was so relaxing.

The location is a little more than a 1/2 hour from Kings Canyon. Teresa is easy to work with and accommodating. The site is to tight for Class A RVs to get to though.

The river is beautiful - the pics do not do it justice and Teresa's family were warm and friendly. We used the camp as our base for exploring the National Park but I suspect its best to stay and hang out by the river bank.
