Welcome to Three Rivers Nature Lodge Preserve, a 66-acre wildlife habitat nestled in the oak woodlands at the gateway to Sequoia National Park. This private sanctuary offers a serene escape characterized by vibrant native wildflowers, several ponds, and stunning mountain backdrops. Located within a 30-minute drive of the Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park entrance, it serves as an ideal home base for exploring the high Sierras while providing a quiet space to connect with nature. The property features two distinct sites designed for different camping styles. Fairy Glen is a secluded tent-only site tucked under a lush oak canopy near a riparian zone filled with willow and fig trees. To maintain the tranquility of the area, this site is a short walk from the lodge, and a wagon is provided to help transport your gear down the scenic path. For those traveling with vehicles or looking for more space, the Oak Meadow Event Space offers a wide, sun-drenched area perfect for van camping or small RVs under 20 feet. This site includes a stage often used for outdoor yoga and music, offering a unique "basecamp" feel with direct vehicle access via a dirt road (4WD recommended). Both sites offer access to potable water and toilets, though please note that there are no showers or electrical hookups, and campfires are not permitted to protect the preserve. Whether you are here to hike the nearby national parks, enjoy the local birdlife, or simply stargaze from the meadow, the Three Rivers Nature Lodge Preserve offers a pristine slice of California’s mountain landscape. Friendly pets are welcome to join you on your adventure.

Fairy Glen is situated under an oak canopy with an Eastern view towards a riparian zone with an abundance of willow and fig trees. This site has a fresh yet sunny vibe depending on the time of day. Campers have access to a wagon that can be used to transport their camping gear a couple of minutes down the lush path just after the lodge on site.

Oak Meadow Event Space

Oak Meadow is also known as our event space where we occasionally host outdoor yoga and music. There is a stage and solar panels on the north edge. It is wide and spacious where a dirt road allows for vehicles to be driven up and parked right next to your campsite. This space is also ideal for van camping.

Alta Vista is the campsite with most epic view on the property. Nestled atop a hill overlooking the town of Three Rivers, this site is ideal for campers wanting to sit back and watch the sunrise or sunset. Parking is just below the site but the short walk is worth it. This space is more open than the rest in terms of trees/shade, having your own shade is recommended since this area does not have trees. Beautiful location and in a great spot! Close to Seqouia and all the shops at the foothills. Very welcoming hosts! Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Very nice location with privacy and nice view. Hosts were very nice and helpful! Very close to Sequoia National Park. Had plenty of quail, lizards and turkeys.

We enjoyed our two night camping stay at the Fairy Glen site. The directions were clear, the hosts were friendly and so helpful, even starting a campfire for us the first night. The property is beautiful and a joy to explore. We are greatful for the oportunity to stay there.
