This place is magical--the cedar forest, the hot tub, the garden, the communal kitchen and deck, and all the little artful touches everywhere! We had such a peaceful getaway there, and it was lovely to be able to get into nature just 35 minutes from Portland, but have amenities like a hot shower, sink, and (nice!) bathrooms.

We had the pleasure of staying here and we can't recommend it enough! This location truly felt like a relaxing oasis, surrounded by tall old trees. The amenities, especially the hot tub (provided towels!), shower, hammocks, and foos ball table were top-notch, making our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The clean outhouses and well-maintained campsites exceeded our expectations. My girlfriend got the massage by the owner who is a licensed therapist and she loved it.
We loved the spacious layout of the big site, which offered plenty of privacy while still being nearby. There is a short (less than 1/4 mile/4 minute walk) down the path to campsite, which was steep, but manageable, especially with the provided carts for your gear. Whether you’re looking to unwind or explore, this camping spot has it all. I can’t wait to return for another peaceful getaway!

This place is magical! We stayed at Harmony Hollow / hobbits hollow. You are surrounded by trees and the site feels peaceful and remote but you can see the site from the path as you walk down - this was not an issue for us but if you want 100% privacy maybe go for the other spot around the pond. There are two areas for tents at this site but the ground is a little uneven on one of them, we didn't have a problem and had plenty of space. This (and the other site) are both walk-in sites which I only realized from the reviews themselves. There are awesome wagons to help move you things down to the campsite but just bear this in mind when packing, it's a slight hill, but nothing crazy the outhouse is at the top of the hill near where you park. The highlight of this relaxing stay is the hot tub, in which every detail of the area is just stunning, do not skip this activity. The hot tub was a little too hot for me but my husband really enjoyed it. Frank, Sarah's partner was super helpful in showing us around and was really nice to talk to! Would totally recommend this campsite!

This place is a gem!! My campsite was next to a sweet little pond and I was surrounded by beautiful cedar trees. There is a relaxation area with a vineyard and many different hammocks to choose from, a hot tub all to yourself, the cutest little outhouse cottage you’ve ever seen, a great outdoor shower... Over the course of my stay I just kept coming across more and more treasures. There is clearly so much love and attention to detail put into this place. I was greeted upon arrival and given a tour of all the amenities so I felt very welcome and comfortable right away. I also opted for a bottle of wine made right on the property and a massage and both were fantastic. Highly highly recommend!!!

I had a wonderful stay at the retreat. It is quiet and charming. The hot tub was so clean and provided a view of a gorgeous garden with hummingbird sightings. We booked massages with Emily and they were amazing.

Showed up in the dark but the owner still came to greet us and tell us where the bathrooms were and where we could set up. They also suggested a great pizza place that we ended up going to in Cannon Beach (pizza l'afetta I believe it was called!)

Great place to forest bathe. Beautiful old growth trees, and secluded sites. Hula hooped under the swing tree and very much enjoyed the Jacuzzi and the veggie/flower garden. Special beautiful grounds.

I loved tent camping on Emily's land. It's a beautiful space that feels like you're in the middle of a forest despite being a short drive from Portland. The hot tub was totally worth it and I appreciated that there were towels. The only thing that I would have changed was to level out the space for the tents a little more. It's not that bad though and it doesn't actually matter much if you're using an air mattress or cot, but if your just using a thinner pad to sleep on, you may need hunt a bit for the right spot within the site. That said, I was super happy and would love to return.

Beautiful and unique stay. The campground was relatively private and cool in the summer heat, tucked away in the forest and down the hill. Definitely prepare for a workout when trekking from the car to your campground but its nothing thats too big of a deal. The cedar hot tub and garden/vineyard/orchard behind were AMAZING in mid August. Truly magical- thank you!

Camping at Harmony Hollow was so lovely and peaceful. It was awesome to have such a private campsite but be on a great property with friendly folks. Being so close to PDX, it was just quick get-away we wanted. The wildlife was so cool too! Loved hearing the different types of birds and seeing bunnies hop around.

This property is truly stunning. This site is nestled back in the forest, and is absolutely beautiful and private. The walk in and out of the site was more than we expected, as we had parked for car camping and had heavy gear like large coolers with us. The trail is much longer and steeper than we anticipated based on the listing. Definitely worth it, but we would have packed very differently had we realized the amount of hill we would be dealing with. The wagons were helpful, but without brakes on a steep hill with heavy gear, it was dicey. I’d recommend this spot for sure, but only if you pack less like car camping and more like the easiest backpacking trip you could imagine. Once in the site we did notice that the places for tents were not quite level. A little leveling would have gone a long way for comfort. The hosts were very friendly and hospitable. Communication was excellent, with prompt replies via the app, and even a check in via that app after the thunderstorm that we were lucky enough to camp through.
To reiterate, I would absolutely stay here again, but would pack much much lighter. Just know what you’re getting into, pack appropriately, and you’ll have a beautiful time!

BEAUTIFUL place--the garden is lovely, sites well kempt, cute chickens.
There were teenagers(not other campers) running around and screaming the entire time-we're teachers and wanted to get away from children for a few nights. One of them also stared at us, pouting, the entire time we were in the pool--we were in there for like 25m, tops.
There is a hidden fee: you have to pay EVERY time you get in the hot tub, not just a one-time fee. There wasn't any cleaning shock for the tub(it was supposed to be provided between every visit to the hot tub), so it wasn't cleaned/sanitized between soak sessions.
Nice people! and also kinda weird with us. We asked about a piece of art they had (we are also both artists) cuz it was absolutely beautiful and it was a bit of strange interaction--I was also misgendered and that always feels real bad.

Emily and her husband were responsive and great hosts. The site was absolutely gorgeous.
The walk down can be a little gnarly if you have a lot of gear/kids, but it's totally worth it for the beautiful view and privacy.
We loved the hot tub! It was the cherry on top of a beautiful night!

Absolutely gorgeous property to connect with the outdoors on not too far from Portland. The hot tub is amazing as everyone else has mentioned, definitely don't pass that up! The campsites also feel nice and private. Emily's son Michael assisted us when we arrived and he was very nice. We will definitely be coming back!

Nice quiet, secluded property. Campsite was very scenic and interesting. Up and down the hills with the carts was a bit of a trek but worth it for the location. Berries and plums were great! We would definitely go back!

Emily was an excellent host and wow... what a beautiful property her and her partner have worked so hard to make into such a special place. Definitely recommend taking a soak in the cedar tub. Our camp site felt nice and secluded.

Host met us in arrival. Very welcoming. We were at a hike in site and it was definitely a bit of challenge to pack everything down the hill. That said, it was worth it. We had an isolated spot. Very private. We also spent time in the oak barrel hot tub and my wife got a wonderful massage from the host who is a licensed masseuse. Def worth the add on for her. Camp site as clean and quiet. Only drawbacks were the hike in and out with our stuff as well as a lack of even ground for the tent. We were on big hobbit site and have a 16’ tent but couldn’t find a level spot to put it. Always tough to sleep at an angle, even a small one.
Overall we would highly recommend and we plan to return in the future.

This land is enchanting and sacred. Pictures don’t do it justice. Our camp site was down a hill into the woods, next to a beautiful calm pond in a cool dim forest of very tall cedars. The perfect place for camping. There are other vignettes to wander through, like the vineyard, the garden, and the orchard. They also have a tiny home and a cabin on their property. Interactions with the owners were nice, albeit I didn’t have a way to contact them without just encountering them on the property. I did smell cigarette smoke and heard talking loudly on the phone outside our camp a few times. They clearly work hard to maintain the property. My 11 yo and I also loved the cedar hot tub area with outdoor shower. So inviting and cozy. McMenamin’s vibes. They also had a fire pit by the garden which saved us because we weren’t able to use the fire pit at the camp site due to dry conditions, but we had brought wood and stuff for smores, and other fire pit treats. I will say it was chilly in the woods at night and early in the day, even in late July, so I wished we could have had a fire. The water is by the barn, not at the camp site. The outhouse was manageable, or not terrible. One thing to note: you don’t need to bring towels or toilet paper. All in all: check if the campfires are allowed, how to reach the owners, and don’t bring what you don’t need like towels or TP.
They also have a pool and a chicken coop. My son enjoyed talking with the chickens. Too cold for the pool.

Emily's land is lovely, with diverse camping opportunities and well-cared for by her family. Meeting her dog, cats and chickens made the whole experience delightful! And having access to a hot tub and shower were added bonuses! I'm interested in returning in the future to check out the cabin with it's lovely view of the forest and pond. Thanks for everything!

I cannot say enough good things about this beautiful place, our wonderful hosts and the experience in general! Emily and Frank have clearly put a lot of thought and care into creating an experience for others to enjoy. Our campsite was a short walk from parking. Carts are available for moving stuff. Composting toilets were clean and easy to get to from camp. The sites are very much immersed in nature- between two ponds. We paid extra for massages and hot tub use which made the experience a full on retreat for us and not far from Portland where we live. It really was an easy restorative experience. Highly recommended!
