Frills free location very close to downtown Veneta and 15 minutes from Eugene. Quiet and pretty location off of owners driveway. Feels very safe.

The spot was a good first Hipcamp trial for us. I have to say, there was no communication with the host, which didn't bother me too much, but we just showed up, no one else was there, no one banged on our van overnight, and we left early the next morning. The driveway to get to the spot is pretty steep and gravel in the last section. Our Class-B made it with a bit of a struggle, but we do have off-road tires. I'm not sure how it would have been with street tires on our FWD van. Site was large and level. There were a lot of mosquitos, so we more or less stayed in van, but we did get there after 5 PM. It was only a stopover on our way to the Olympic Peninsula. It was quiet with plenty of shade and was cool overnight in late June. I'm not sure we'd have the same travel plans to stay there again, but I think it's worth recommending for the location itself. We got up the next morning and hit the Coffee Plant Roaster in Eugene which was only about 10 minutes away.

This is a lovely, secluded campsite. It’s full of beautiful trees and lots of flora and fauna. It’s very private. Cindy gave explicit easy to follow instructions. We would gladly come back here.

The site was very nice. It is a wooded area and very quiet. Cindy gave great instruction on getting to it, we came in the dark and found it.
Level, gravel pad and a nice picnic table, if you are looking for solitude I would say this is a great spot.

Ditto! Like everyone has said previously, the Hip camp was exactly as advertised. Private and super quiet. We were in transit and had to put in a last minute reservation, thanks Cindy for promptly responding.

Quiet and restful

A perfect quiet spot to rest not far from the city. I slept so well so here and it was so lovely to be amongst the trees. Cindy was very responsive and helpful with a last minute booking.

Cindy’s place is terrific and she is an amazing host. From the time I booked, though my stay her communication was impeccable. We were only there for a quick overnight, but it was lovely. Will definitely be back!

Great location, it's like having a campground all to yourself! Beautiful view of the trees on the hill. My kids enjoyed the berries and the wild mint. Hope to come back soon!

This was the perfect spot for my husband and I to stop for the night! We had spent all of our previous nights in the seclusion of the forest and felt sad about giving that up for a night in a city. At this spot, we were only about ten minutes from everything downtown Eugene has to offer, but it felt like we were in the middle of the woods by ourselves. It was so peaceful and quiet and we got to fall asleep to a soundtrack of crickets chirping! Would highly recommend!

The camping spot was very secluded and while we could see the hosts house at the top of the hill, it felt very private. Proximity to town was very good. We never did meet our hosts and the only thing that took away from the spot was the car trailer pared at the site. Lots of berries though!!!

Serene and quiet

This was an excellent, private space for our camper van. We even saw a beautiful black bear as we turned on the main road to leave.
